Mike Arteta's side have brought another comprehensive display for having returned to the top-four before Manchester United and have led them by one point with three games in hand. The Gunners have now witnessed the glory of five consecutive Premier League games - having scored at least two goals in each of the last four games.

Liverpool
Liverpool made a 0-2 away success to Brighton last time out. The Reds have won 13 of the last 14 games and have lost only two away games across all the competitions this season. The second-placed visiting team are now only four points behind Manchester City. The South Coast victory marked their eighth victory in the Premier League and their third clean sheet in the top flight, winning all of their last five away games,

Prediction
Arsenal have made great progress and are fully capable of ending their barren streak against the Reds. Salah's possible absence will also make home fans extremely optimistic about Liverpool's game, but the Reds often have full fire in the game and are still one level higher than Arteta's men. Considering the respective goals of the two teams in good condition and any form of attack, it is expected that there will be a high-score game on Wednesday.

Thomas Partey headed in unchallenged from Gabriel Martinelli's corner after 11 minutes. The same player struck the crossbar as Arsenal pressed for a second, while Lacazette made it 2:0 with a 59th-minute penalty. Arteta has the majority of his players available for this match. Emile Smith Rowe has recovered from illness and played some 15 minutes against Leicester. He is in contention to replace Gabriel Martinelli, but Arteta may want to be cautious over his fitness. Takehiro Tomiyasu remain out due to a calf injury.

The Egypt winger was replaced in the finish due to a foot problem and he is rated as doubtful. Diogo Jota could deputize for Salah if Klopp decide to rest the Egyptian. Kostas Tsimikas and James Milner are both doubtful due to illness, but Ibrahima Konate returns from a knock.
