Leicester City will play away against Rennes in the second leg of the last 16 of the Europa League. They led 2-0 in East Midlands last week.
Rennes
Despite their disappointment with England's results, Rennes have performed well on the domestic stage, scoring 14 goals in the last four games of the French top league. The team have won four of the last five games and they have scored two or more goals in these four games. Four consecutive victories have put them fourth in Ligue 1.
Leicester City
Although it was disappointing after losing 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium last time out, ending their four-game winning streak, it would be reasonable if the Foxes could advance to the quarter finals of this tour. The Foxes currently rank 12th in the Premier League table.
Prediction
The Foxes and Rennes are in good shape. Because the latter is facing the pressure to overcome the two goal defeat, we can look forward to offensive football from the whistle of the game. Many goals are expected on Thursday.
