Chelsea vs Man Utd | Premier League | 1X Tip | Tonight
Interesting one tonight at Stamford Bridge. Two struggling sides, both with a lot to lose, meeting at exactly the wrong time for each of them.
Chelsea have been absolutely dreadful in the league lately. Three straight losses, zero goals scored across all three - 0-3 to Everton, 0-1 to Newcastle, 0-3 to Man City at home last weekend. That is a team that has completely lost its attacking identity. Rosenior is under serious pressure and the players look shot of confidence. They're 6th on 48 points, four off the Champions League places with the season winding down.
Man Utd aren't coming in with any swagger either. Lost 2-1 to Leeds on Monday at home, which was a bad result. Still third on 55 points but Aston Villa are right behind them and the pressure is building.
The tip I'm going with - 1X, Chelsea or Draw.
H2H gives United the edge on paper - won 2-1 at Old Trafford in September, three wins from last five meetings overall. But Stamford Bridge is a different animal and Chelsea desperately need a home performance to keep their UCL hopes alive.
With Chelsea not scoring in three games and United wobbling, I don't see this being an open attacking game. Likely tight, scrappy, and cagey. A draw feels very much on the cards.
