What Would You Do If Your Child Became You (As A Bettor)?

This thread has genuinely scared me straight about something.

Not even my own betting. But about how I talk about it in front of younger people.

Like my sister looks up to me. And I've been accidentally making betting look glamorous and fun.

Right.

So who's actually going to do something different because of this thread?

I'll talk to my nephew. Actually talk to him.

Not about methodology. About what it costs.

I'm gonna stop talking to my fifteen year old about odds.

Make it boring. Not exciting.

Will attend my daughter's next school event without checking phone.

Small. But meaningful.

I'll stop making betting sound cool on social media.

I post my wins sometimes. Frame it as sharp analysis. Makes it look aspirational.

That's recruiting material for the next generation.

Stopping that.
