Juventus vs Porto Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Juventus:
Szczesny; Cuadrado, Bonucci, Demiral, Sandro; Chiesa, Rabiot, McKennie, Ramsey; Morata, Ronaldo

Porto:

Juventus host Porto at the Allianz Stadium in Turin in UEFA Champions League. The Italian champions must overturn a first-leg deficit to avoid a shock exit. The Old Lady have dominated Serie A, winning the title for the past nine years, but Andrea Pirlo's side are off the pace this season at home and the Champions League trophy could save the campaign. However, Porto have the advantage as they won 2:1 in the first match. The Portuguese champions scored in the first minute of each half. In the first minute Bentancur made a huge mistake as his poor pass allowed the Iranian international Taremi to sneak in and score. The second half started in similarly calamitous fashion, with Wilson Manafa picking out Marega unmarked eight yards out to slip home a finish at the near post. Cristiano Ronaldo was kept quiet through the whole match, but Federico Chiesa managed to score in the 82nd minute.

Juventus are not superior in Serie A. Andrea Pirlo was a great player, but he isn't too successful as coach. Juventus are seven points behind the leaders Inter and it seems Scudetto is out of their hands. The atmosphere in the squad is far from ideal and Pirlo feels pressure. Of course, a trophy in the Champions League will transform him into a hero. The last results are good, Juve are in mini series of two victories in Serie A. On Saturday the Bianconeri beat another Champions League participants, Lazio. With Ronaldo starting on the bench, the visitors scored first, but Rabiot equalized in the 39th minute. Alvaro Morata, who assisted the first goal, then scored two more to secure a 3:1 win. The victory will surely have a positive impact to the players confidence. Nevertheless, Pirlo has some injury and suspension worries ahead of this match. Paulo Dybala remains sidelined, while Rodrigo Bentancur tested positive for COVID-19 late last week. In addition, defender Danilo is suspended.

Porto are in similar situation domestically. It seems Sporting will become new champions in Portugal and the fans are disappointed. Sporting are yet to lose a game in the Primeira and hold the top of the table. Despite Porto's 2:0 win at Gil Vicente during the weekend, Sporting have a 10-point advantage. To be worse, Porto were eliminated by Braga in the second leg of their cup semi-final last Wednesday, losing 3:2 at home and 4:3 on aggregate. Of course, a successful run in the Champions League could compensate the domestic campaign. Coach Sergio Conceicao is well aware of that fact and I am sure he will put the focus on this match. He has four injury issues at the moment. Key defender Pepe suffered a calf strain on Saturday, while Jesus Corona was hurt in an aerial collision. Chancel Mbemba and Ivan Marcano may also not be fit enough to feature. The scorers from the first match - Mehdi Taremi and Moussa Marega - should lead the line.

Juventus vs Porto Prediction:

Last time Porto visited Turin four years ago, in March 2017. Juventus won 1:0 thanks to Dybala. I expect a tight and low scoring match again. Porto have one-goal advantage and they will defend. Juventus, meanwhile, won't rush too much. The hosts need just one goal, but keeping the net untouched is pivotal. Considering Ronaldo's poor display on the first match, I don't expect lot of goals here.

Juventus vs Porto Pick: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.16 with 188Bet

Borussia Dortmund

Their four-match winning streak is broken by Bayern Munchen. Obviously they are fatigued by the over-scheduled matches in these days. What’s worse, their key player, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Guerreiro will suspend due to injuries, which has an effect on their playing.

Sevilla

They are in low morale because of a three-match losing streak. And they are in poor condition, with only one scoring goal in recent three games. It seems that they are in poor condition owing to many fronts in these days.

Verdict:

In last round, Borussia Dortmund win a narrow victory over Sevilla. But as two key players of Borussia Dortmund are injured, it is hard to say whether they will defeat Sevilla in the upcoming game. Sevilla have the trend to win.

Liverpool vs Leipzig Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Phillips, Robertson; Jones, Wijnaldum, Thiago Alcantara; Salah, Jota, Mane

Leipzig:
Gulacsi; Mukiele, Upamecano, Klostermann; Adams, Sabitzer, Kampl, Olmo, Angelino; Sorloth, Nkunku

Liverpool will play the second leg last-16 Champions League tie against Red Bull Leipzig. The Reds won 2:0 as guests in the first match played in Budapest, with both goals coming after big mistakes from Leipzig players. It took 53 minutes for Liverpool to break the deadlock as Mohamed Salah pounced on a loose back pass before funneling coolly into Gulacsi's bottom corner. Minutes later, Leipzig’s shaky back line was punished once again, with Sadio Mane on call to double Liverpool’s lead and secure a two-goal victory. The reverse fixture was moved from England, with Budapest the destination once again.

Liverpool face a season-defining Champions League clash on Wednesday night. With Manchester City clear favorites for the Premier League title, the Reds have an uphill task of keeping a first-leg advantage to book a ticket for the quarterfinals. Usually a 2:0 away win from the first leg means a progress in the pocket, but not this time and not with this Liverpool. It was a disaster how Jurgen Klopp's men played in the last period. This is the biggest crisis in the club's history. Liverpool look a long way from the team that won the title last season and the Champions League before. But there is a reason for the poor results - the injury situation. Key defender Virgil van Dijk suffered a knee-ligaments injury in September and missed the remaining season. Only his absence is a huge handicap, but there's more - the other two central defenders Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are also long-term injury victims. Diogo Jota, who had a dream start in Liverpool's shirt, missed several weeks with an injury. There’s no shame in the Reds' season, they’ve just had long-term injuries to key players in key positions. Imagine Barcelona without Messi, they will be an average team in the first season. One player could make a big difference sometime. For this match Klopp remain without injured trio centre backs, but there is more as captain Jordan Hendersonb and Roberto Firmino are also injured. Finally, Ozan Kabak and Caoimhin Kelleher are rated as doubtful.

Leipzig are in excellent form. Since the defeat from Liverpool in the first leg, the German outfit have won four matches in a row, keeping three clean sheets during that spell. Red Bull beat Hertha Berlin with 3:0, beat Borussia Monchengladbach with 3:2 and beat Freiburg with 3:0 in Bundesliga. In addition, they were successful in the domestic cup where beat Wolfsburg with 2:0. As You could see, they are easily scoring goals. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is high. Coach Julien Nagelsmann is doing a great job and the fans are satisfied. This could be a big chance for him and his players. They have enough quality to give Liverpool some headaches defensively. Of course, avoiding mistakes is crucial. Nagelsmann has some injury worries ahead of this match. Left-back Angelino, who has missed the last three matches with a thigh injury, is rated as highly doubtful. Marcel Sabitzer and Willi Orban are also doubts, while Marcel Halstenberg, Konrad Laimer and Dominik Szoboszlai are all sidelined. On the positive note, Justin Kluivert is back from injury.

Liverpool vs Leipzig Prediction:

Liverpool are back in European action after poor domestic performances, which saw them suffering three defeats in four Premier League fixtures since the first-leg match. Their loss against Fulham was their sixth consecutive home defeat. Given Liverpool series of defeats at home, playing the last-16 second leg away from Anfield could be a positive moment. On contrary, Leipzig have scored three goals in all three of their league games since their European defeat. A solid result from the first leg should see the Reds safely through to the quarter-finals, but an early Leipzig goal would certainly make the Reds players very nervous and vulnerable. I expect Leipzig to produce lot of problems to Liverpool.
