Hi,I'm new here and I want to know if you can live decently of gambling like how you see it on tv.I don't know a lot about the real world so that is why I prepared 6 questions for each users from here.I would be happy if you could write this answers as an essay or short essay.
1)Do you play these games as a hobby or as a career?(Honestly I believed that players do it for the money and not for the colour of the cards or the psychology of others)
2)Why didn't anyone warned me that gambling is not for immature people?(like myself because when I entered the forum no one warned me that these games are for those who have a passion in investing these money in bussiness)
3)Can you make a living from bets?(including sport bets)
4)How much math does a person need to understand the nature of gambling?(I saw some books about strategies and they involved some calculus but I have no idea if you're going to use that because I've never played or made profit from gambling)
5)What is so great about gambling and betting(beside winning and losing)What's the essence that hides inside these games?
6)What happens when an immature person decides to enter gambling?Are they awaken in the real world?

2 How can the forum warn you, there are enough materials on the internet and here to read and decide for yourself.
3 Only if you are patient and stick to strategy but even then you will need a good strike rate. Only less than 1% win money constantly.
4 I dont use any math.
5 and 6 I dont understand these questions.

You'll get different answers from players here as not all are playing on a career level. I only started gambling for a couple of weeks now on Bitbook and it was only for fun, so there won't be hurt feelings whenever I lose which is very typical for gaming.

1) It's my job since 2011. To be honest before i lost a lot of money in gambling for more than 10 years ( 2000 to 2010 )
2) Nobody talks about his gambling problems. For 10 years i lost a lot of money on bets and never talk about that with family or friends

For me when you gamble you only have 2 ways to do that : Funny playing 1-2 euros per bet, and intelligent way ( bankroll management, reflected bets ) when you play more than 1-2 euros per bets ( personnally now i play between 100eur and 500eur per bets )

You have to be smart about it and not make a lot of mistakes. For example you can learn how to play poker and be really good at it. It is better to play for free first to get the experience and become good at it. When you learn how to do it start playing for money. You also need a good casino to play at and that is really important also because if you play on a bad one you will have no chance really. There are good ones, but they are not that easy to find.

For me the purpose is purely entertainment and fun. I manage how much I'm spending and if that figure compared to profit wasn't looking good I simply wouldn't do it. I don't find it addictive at all. I've started playing some casino apps rather than just betting on football and horse racing and I'm enjoying the different casino software on offer as I studied software IT at Uni.

Winning i sports betting is not easy. What you see in tv is just propaganda funded by casinos/sportsbooks. Most of those guys in those shows don't make money from winning, they get paid to act and they get paid from the books to refer people to them and they get commission from all the losses. Hey bro!
Mostly I earned from poker but I've never been at a loss from betting. In general, I'm 4-5k dollars of plus from betting. My starts are very simple, when I lose 2-3 bets in a row I make a break for at least a month, I bet only at matches that take place in a Leagues I observe, I bet only accumulators and I always have 2 bets where I repeat bets I'm sure of and place different results on a match I have doubts and good coefficient. Can you please share with me your tips ?
