Newcastle United vs. Southampton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Newcastle United:
Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Longstaff, Guimaraes, Willock; Murphy, Isak, Joelinton

Southampton:
McCarthy; Walker-Peters, Bednarek, Caleta-Car, Perraud; Elyounoussi, Ward-Prowse, Lavia, Armstrong, Walcott, Alcaraz

Newcastle United have an opportunity to obtain the third victory when they host Southampton on Sunday at St James Park. The Magpies are in fantastic form in the last period. First they beat Tottenham 6:1 and then outplayed Everton, winning 4:1 at Goodison. Alexander Isak was the key name against the Spurs as he scored a brace. The Norwegian has netted seven goals in his last eight league outings. Jacob Murphy was also double scorer, while the remaining two goals were scored by Joelinton and Callum Wilson. The latter scored a brace against the Toffees, while Joelinton and Murphy also found the back of the net. Howe has the majority of his players available for this match, only Allan Saint-Maximin and Emil Krafth remain out injured. However, he will probably rotate the players to avoid the fatigue, so Dan Burn, Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak could replace Matt Targett, Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson in attack. The key creative Bruno Guimaraes is expected to remain in midfield.

Southampton showed two faces in the last two rounds. First they upset the leaders Arsenal at the Emirates, playing a 3:3 draw. It was a result that probably ended the Gunners' champions dreams, but at the same time it was a good result for the Saints. Nevertheless, they lost 1:0 to Bournemouth at St. Mary's on Thursday, with substitute Che Adams seeing his late equalizer ruled out for offside. It was a disappointing result for Southampton's fans as their club are six points away from the safe zone. What is worse, they are in awful form, losing four of the last five Premier League games. Manager Ruben Selles look unable to change something, although he need a miracle to avoid relegation. Having on mind they won just three of their last 22 Premier League games, I see no chance for Southampton. Selles will be missing the injured trio of Mohamed Salisu, Romain Perraud and Juan Larios, while Tino Livramento and Armel Bella-Kotchap are both rated as doubtful. That's not all as James Ward-Prowse is questionable after the club captain was substituted at half time in Thursday's defeat to Bournemouth.

Newcastle United vs. Southampton Prediction:

Newcastle United are in fantastic form at the moment. They won the last two matches scoring 10 goals in the process. The overall form is also good, the Magpies have won seven of their last eight Premier League encounters. Regarding the goals, seven of the last eight matches have finished with Over 2.5 goals. Southampton showed they could upset the favorites when played a 3:3 draw with the leaders Arsenal at the Emirates. I think this could be an efficient match too.

Liverpool vs. Tottenham Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Nunez

Tottenham:
Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Porro, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Perisic; Kulushevski, Kane, Son

Liverpool welcome Tottenham to Anfield on Sunday afternoon. This used to be a genuine derby between two clubs fighting for the top of the table, but this time is different. Liverpool are currently seventh with 53 points, while Tottenham fifth with 54. According to me, they are out of the battle for the Champions League spots. Liverpool are in series of positive results, but it seems too late. The Reds are unbeaten on the last five matches in the Premier League. Even more, Jurgen Klopp's men have won the last three. They beat Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and West Ham, scoring 11 goals in the process. The German coach is still feeling a pressure, but the last results buy him some time. The injury situation is improving, though two players remain sidelined, while two more are rated as doubtful. Stefan Bajcetic (adductor) and Calvin Ramsay (knee) are long-term absentees, but Ibrahima Konate, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino could recover in time for this match.

Tottenham have 54 points and sit on the fifth place, behind Newcastle and Manchester United. The current form isn't at desired level, they have suffered two defeats on the last three Premier League matches, registering just one draw in the process. The club and players are in chaotic situation at the moment. The Spurs were humiliated at St James Park last weekend when lost 6:1. They conceded five goals in the first half and the fans were frustrated. Cristian Stellini, who had been interim manager following Antonio Conte's departure, was sacked after the match and Ryan Mason was announced as the new caretaker manager. It will be his second period in charge of Spurs, having held the role between April 2021 and June 2021, winning four and losing three of his seven matches at the helm. Thursday's draw with Manchester United could be evaluated as a good debut for Mason. The Englishman has some injury issues ahead of this match. Captain Hugo Lloris is out with the hip problem, but there is more - Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon and Emerson Royal are sidelined too. Some changes are possible, with Kulushevski as first option for any attacking alterations.

Liverpool vs. Tottenham Prediction:

Liverpool are in good form and the players confidence is higher. On contrary, Tottenham are in difficult period. They were humiliated at St James Park when conceded five goals in the first half. The Spurs defense is very vulnerable in the last period, they haven't registered a clean sheet on the last eight league matches. At the same time they have a big offensive potential, strikers like Kane, Son and Richarlison should not be underestimated. I expect at least four goals at Anfield.

Liverpool vs. Tottenham Pick: Over 3.5 goals @ 2.16 with Pinnacle

Arsenal vs Chelsea Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Jesus

Chelsea:
Kepa; Chalobah, Silva, Fofana, Chilwell; Fernandez, Kante, Gallagher; Felix, Havertz, Sterling

Arsenal and Chelsea will renew the hostilities in London derby on Tuesday night. The game was supposed to take place on Saturday evening but was moved to a midweek kickoff upon a revision from the Metropolitan Police, much to the dismay of supporters. In the meantime Manchester City beat Fulham and took the top of the table with 76 points, one more than Arsenal. The Gunners heavily lost the derby of the season at the Etihad. Kevin De Bruyne's brace and goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland were enough for a 4:1 victory for the Citizens. If something could be rated as positive, that's the fact that Brighton & Hove Albion lost to Nottingham Forest, a result that guaranteed Arsenal's return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2016-17 season. Of course, the fans are disappointed as they were dreaming about the title. The atmosphere in the club is far from desired, while the current form is poor. Arteta's men have no win on the last four matches. Prior to the mentioned defeat to Manchester City, they dropped six points, drawing with Liverpool, West Ham and basement side Southampton. In addition, William Saliba is unlikely to recover from his back injury in time for this match. Finally, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny remain long-term injury victims.

The last year was very turbulent for Chelsea. The war in Ukraine had a massive impact to the club. As a result, the American businessman Todd Boehly replaced Roman Abramovich, though he had no previous experience in English football. Almost all his decisions were wrong, or at least questionable. He sacked Thomas Tuchel and appointed Graham Potter from Brighton, but the results were even worse. Last month Boehly decided to appoint the club legend Frank Lampard. The fans love him, but the results are even worse. The Blues have four defeats on the last five matches. They lost to Aston Villa, Wolverhampton, Brighton and Brentford, while shared the points with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The atmosphere in the club is poor, while the players confidence is low. Lampard is under heavy pressure and it became clear he is not a solution for the next season. He has some additional issues as Mason Mount and Reece James will miss the remainder of the season with pelvic and thigh injury respectively. Marc Cucurella is also sidelined with a thigh injury, while Armando Broja and Marcus Bettinelli are long-term injury victims. Finally, Kalidou Koulibaly and Kai Havertz are both rated as doubtful. Should Havertz remain unavailable, the former Arsenal man Aubameyang will start in attack. It will be interesting to see the fans reaction.

Arsenal vs Chelsea Prediction:

Arsenal are in poor form, they have no win on the last four matches. However, the derby with Manchester City was the seventh game in a row in which Arsenal have both scored and conceded. The Gunners defense is not at desired level and they have received an alarming 11 goals in their last four matches. Chelsea, meanwhile, have a terrible season, but they are team with excellent individuals. I believe they are able to score.

Arsenal vs Chelsea Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.85 with Pinnacle
