Swansea travel to Sweden for their Europa League qualifying second leg in total control of the tie against Malmo thanks to a 4-0 win last week.

Swansea totally outclassed Malmo last week in a 4-0 victory thanks to goals from Michu, a couple from new signing Bony and Pozuelo. That win has all but ensured their passage to the next round and the bookies expect them to finish the job in style and Sky Bet make them 21/20 to win this match. The draw is a best price 13/5 (Bet365) and Malmo are 11/4 with Stan James.

Wilfred Bony was the shining light at the Liberty Stadium last week and he is priced at 5/1 (Betfred) to score the first goal of the match in Sweden.

Given that Swansea don’t need to win the match to progress there is strong reason to swerve backing them to win in the 90 minutes. Malmo thrashed Hibernian 9-0 on aggregate in the last round and sit second in their domestic league so they are not without a chance of salvaging some pride here however to think they have a chance of overturning a 4-0 deficit is unrealistic.

Swansea look to have a fantastic forward line for the new season and midfielder Leon Britton is already excited about seeing Bony and Michu blossom up front:

"They are on the same wavelength. Good players understand each other's games."

"Any partnership takes time to develop and that's why they'll only get better the longer they play together.

"It's still very early for them. When Wilfried signed he wasn't here for the first week because he had to get a work permit, but the partnership looks very promising and gives us a new dimension.”

If Laudrup plays his strongest side again on Thursday then Bony has to be in the reckoning for a first goalscorer bet but Swansea will want to keep it tight early on so bet on the first goal to come after the 31st minute at 6/5 with William Hill.

Malmo vs Swansea Betting Tips

Wilfried Bony to score first – 5/1 Betfred

First goal after 31st minute – 6/5 William Hill
