Random thought: if you hit a huge bet but could NEVER tell anyone about it - not friends, not family, not social media - would it feel as good?

Like I love posting my wins on Instagram! My friends hype me up and it's so fun!

If I had to keep it completely secret would I even still bet??

For me? Yes, I'd still bet. The money is the reward, not the validation.

But I'll admit there's satisfaction in proving to myself (and occasionally others) that I'm right.

"I'm a winning bettor" matters when I give advice to people on forums like this.
