Young Boys vs Manchester United Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Young Boys:
Von Ballmoos; Hefti, Camara, Zesiger, Garcia; Fassnacht, Sierro, Aebischer, Ngamaleu; Elia, Siebatcheu

Manchester United:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo

Young Boys welcome Manchester United at Stade de Suisse in Bern in one of the most interesting encounters of the Champions League opening round. This will be the third mutual game between these two sides in the competition. In the first encounter in 2018, the Red Devils won 3:0 in Bern thanks to Paul Pogba's brace. The third goal was netted by Anthony Martial. In the reverse fixture at Old Trafford was much harder for Manchester. The Black and Yellow were focused on the defense and United were unable to find the back of the net until the injury time when Marouane Fellaini popped up to score the winner.

Young Boys have started the Champions League campaign from the qualifications. They managed to eliminate Slovan Bratislava with 3:2 aggregate win, CFR Cluj with 4:2 and Ferencvaros with 6:4 to secure the group stage. It will be only the second time in their history to participate in the groups and the fact is they are incredibly inexperienced at this level. To be worse, Young Boys have won just one of their previous eight fixtures against English opposition. But the players confidence is surely high after they beat Zurich 4:0 in the Swiss Super League. Michel Aebischer was the key name on the match after netting a brace. Coach David Wagner has some unavailable players - Fabian Lustenberger, Jean-Pierre Nsame, Joel Monteiro, Esteban Petignat and Nico Maier are all injured. Some changes are expecting, with Mohamed Camara and Vincent Sierro in line to feature from the first minute. Meschack Elia and Theoson-Jordan Siebatcheu should lead the line.

Manchester United registered a high 4:1 win over Newcastle in the Premier League last weekend. The atmosphere at Old Trafford was excellent and the fans were in delirium. Cristiano Ronaldo famously made his Premier League return with a brace. He scored two crucial goals, the first and the second. Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard also found the back of the net during a strong performance at Old Trafford. The Red Devils picked up 10 points from four league fixtures and sit on the top of the table thanks to the superior goal difference. Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is enjoying the moment, he could become the first manager to win the title after Sir Alex Ferguson. But the European campaign is also important and the Norwegian tactician must find a way to rotate the players. Marcus Rashford, Alex Telles, Dean Henderson and Phil Jones have not made the trip due to injuries. Scott McTominay, who made a quick return from groin surgery, is also out of this match. Ronaldo should lead the line again as Edinson Cavani is still injured.

Young Boys vs Manchester United Prediction:

Manchester United will heavily attack from the first minute. Solskjaer has excellent players and the quality is on their side. However, Young Boys are able to upset the guests, no doubt about that. The Red Devils afforded Newcastle too much space on the counter-attack on Saturday and it was no surprise De Gea conceded. I expect a similar scenario here, there should be goals at both sides.

Young Boys vs Manchester United Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.95 with 10Bet

FC Barcelona

Although they sign a few players such as Memphis Depay, Sergio Leonel Kun Aguero and so on, none of them can take the place of Lionel Andres Messi. They do not play well on defensive, with 4 conceding goals in recent 3 games.

Bayern Munchen

There is great changes in the team. Julian Nagelsmann take the charge of them this season. And they bring in Dayot Upamecano, Marcel Sabitzer to improve themselves. They are good at offensive, with 28 scoring goals in recent 6 games.

Verdict:

Bayern Munchen are better than FC Barcelona. And Bayern Munchen take the upper hand over FC Barcelona in past head to head clashes with a record of 5W-1D-4L. Bayern Munchen are good at offensive while FC Barcelona are weak in defensive. So Bayern Munchen have the tendency to win in upcoming game.

Liverpool vs AC Milan Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Mane

AC Milan:
Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Florenzi, Diaz, Rebic; Ibrahimovic

This is between the most interesting matches of the opening round of the European top-tier club competition. The two teams are between the most successful in the Champions League history - Liverpool lifted the trophy six times, while Milan seven. This is a very difficult group that contain two other winners - Atletico Madrid and Porto. The Reds should be considered as favorites in this match, mainly due to the home advantage. The full Anfield should provide big support to Jurgen Klopp's men. They started the Premier League with three victories and one draw. The Reds first secured a convincing 3:0 win at Norwich City and a 2:0 home win against Burnley in the first two rounds, but then shared the points with Chelsea. Liverpool failed to beat the Blues despite the fact Reece James was sent-off in the finish of the first half. In the last match Liverpool won 3:0 against Leeds United at Eland Road. Mohamed Salah scored his 100th Premier League goal, but everything was overshadowed by Harvey Elliott's horror injury. The 18-year-old player was stretchered off with a dislocated ankle following a challenge from Pascal Struijk and it is clear he will be sidelined for a longer period. in addition, Roberto Firmino, Neco Williams and Takumi Minamino remain out through injuries. That means Diogo Jota will continue alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane in attack. Mane is looking for his 20th goal in the Champions League to become the fourth African player after Salah, Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba to hit that milestone.

AC Milan started the new season in excellent way. They won all three opening games in Serie A and the players confidence is very high ahead of their trip to Liverpool. After finishing second in the last season, Milan continued with good results and secured victories over Sampdoria and Cagliari before the international break. Last weekend they beat Lazio with 2:0. Ante Rebic, who lead the attack in the absence of Olivier Giroud, played a pivotal role in the victory, teeing up both goals scored by Rafael Leao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The fans are finally satisfied with the results, as well with the fact their club will participate in the Champions League. Last time they saw top football was a 4:1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the 2013/14 season. But Liverpool could be unpleasant opponents - the Rossoneri have claimed just one win from their last 13 ties against English opposition. Coach Stefano Pioli has few concerns in front of this match. Former Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is recovering from coronavirus and he is rated as doubtful, while Tiemoue Bakayoko played just 13 minutes before going off injured against Lazio. Most probably he won't be able to play at Anfield. His fellow midfielder Rade Krunic remains sidelined. Fikayo Tomori and Alessio Romagnoli should start in the heart of the defense and many things depend from their performance.

Liverpool vs AC Milan Prediction:

The teams have already met in the Champions League final twice. Liverpool lifted the trophy in 2005 in the famous Istanbul final, while Milan were more successful two years later. I expect an interesting match, however I think Liverpool are closer to the victory. As I wrote above, Milan have claimed just one win from their last 13 ties against English teams. But there is more - while Liverpool have been Champions League regulars in recent years, Milan haven't qualified since the 2013/14 season. The full Anfield will also have an impact.
