Betting Slang That Makes ZERO Sense If You're Not From Your Country

You'll be grand mate.

First session always weird but gets easier.

Good luck tomorrow Conor.

Final question - what's the most absurd betting slang you've heard that turned out to be real?

"Grand salami" in ice hockey.

Its a bet on total goals in all games that day.

Why is it called that?

No idea.

I always thought "bad beat jackpot" was fake until I learned it's a real thing in poker rooms.

"Asian handicap" confusing name for European markets.

Just means handicap with draw eliminated. Not particularly Asian concept.

It originated in Indonesia actually Klaus, hence "Asian."

Fade mate you'd sound ridiculous.

Stick to American slang.
