Betis vs Glasgow Rangers Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Betis:
Rui Silva; Aitor Ruibal, Pezzella, Juan Miranda, Abner; Marc Roca, Guardado, Isco; Diao, Borja Iglesias, Ezzalzouli

Rangers:
Butland; Tavernier, Souttar, Balogun, Barisic; Lundstram, Cifuentes, Cantwell; McCausland, Dessers, Sima

This is a derby match of Europa League Group C. Betis are first with 9 points, Glasgow Rangers have 8, Sparta Prague have 7, while Aris Limassol are fourth with only 4 points. Assuming the Czech outfit will beat Aris on Cyprus (Aris cannot finish in the top two), this is "Do or Die" match for both Betis and Rangers. Betis will reach Round of 16 as group winners if they win, or if they draw providing Sparta win by fewer than three goals. They could also potentially top the group if they draw and Sparta win by three goals, with their final ranking then determined by overall goals scored, then overall away goals scored. Glasgow Rangers, meanwhile, will reach the round of 16 as group winners only if they win here. As I wrote above, Aris Limassol cannot finish in the top two, but they will finish third and enter the Europa Conference League knockout round play-offs if they beat Sparta by a margin of at least two goals.

Betis are in solid form at the moment. They have just two defeats on the last 18 matches, but they both came in Europe. Coach Manuel Pellegrini's men lost in Glasgow and Prague. Betis continued their fine unbeaten domestic record by drawing 1:1 with Real Madrid during the weekend and they remain in the hunt for the European spots. Bellingham scored after 53 minutes and it was his 16th goal in 18 games, but Betis players refused to give up. Aitor Ruibal was the hero after hit a stunning equalizer from outside the area 13 minutes later. More than 50,000 home fans left the stadium happy with the final outcome. But Pellegrini has lot of injury worries. Important midfielders Nabil Fekir and William Carvalho are both out and key man Guido Rodriguez, who's struggling with an ankle injury, is also suspended after picking up his third booking of the group stage last time out. Pellegrini also has defensive issues, with both Marc Bartra and Youssouf Sabaly sidelined, while Sergi Altimira, Chadi Riad and Sokratis Papastathopoulos are not in Betis Europa League squad. .

Glasgow Rangers are in excellent form, but their domestic form should be replicate in Europa. They are unbeaten on the last 13 games in the Premier League and the players confidence is surely high. Rangers managed to win the last three domestic fixtures, beating St Mirren, Hearts and FC Dundee. They scored six goals in the process, while conceded one. During the weekend they won 3:1 against FC Dundee and moved to within five points of Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic. The fans left the stadium pleased with the result, particularly because the hosts played the second half with 10 men after Jose Cifuentes was sent off for a stamp. Three goals were scored by three different players. First, Cyriel Dessers cancelled out the opponent's advantage with a stunning strike, then James Tavernier converted a penalty and Abdallah Sima set the final 3:1 with a header. The next period is very important for Rangers as they will also face Aberdeen in the Viaplay Cup final. Nevertheless, the new manager Philippe Clement is doing a fantastic job and the atmosphere in the squad is excellent. They are unbeaten on 12 games under Clement. But he has some injury worries too. Three midfielders - Tom Lawrence, Ryan Jack and Nicolas Raskin - are all out, as well as striker Danilo. Jose Cifuentes was sent off against Dundee, but he is eligible to play in Europe.

Betis vs Glasgow Rangers Prediction:

I think both teams will score in Sevilla. Betis play at home and they are very strong at Estadio Benito Villamarin. Betis started the home campaign playing a goalless draw with Atletico Madrid, but then scored on each game at Villamarin. That includes two matches in Europe League, a 2:1 win over Sparta Prague and a 4:1 win over Aris. It should be tough for Rangers, even more as they failed to win any of their last 12 matches at Spanish soil. To be worse, exactly Sevilla was the city where they lost in the final of this competition just 18 months ago. But Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini has lot of injury issues and he could miss some important players. I believe Rangers are able to take advantage of their problems and I expect to score.

Betis vs Glasgow Rangers Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.73 with Pinnacle

I will add 5 extra previews:

18:45. Union Royale SG vs Liverpool Pick: Home win @ 2.20 with Pinnacle

Union Royale SG are fighting for second place and they will take this match seriously. On contrary, Klopp will play without his best players - Alisson, Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are all left out of this match. Some relatively "unknown" players are in the squad - Kaide Gordon, Luke Chambers, Calum Scanlon, James McConnell, Tom Hill, Lewis Koumas and Ben Doak.

Four of that above-mentioned list could start against Union SG. This is a good opportunity for them, but at the same time it is clear Klopp focus is on the upcoming match with Manchester United. Liverpool are first in their Europa League group and this match is not important.

21:00. Brighton vs Marseille Pick: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.51 with Pinnacle

Brighton and Marseille are already guaranteed top-two finish and they will feature in the knock-out stages. However, both teams will like to finish on the first place in the group and avoid the play-off round of Last 32. That is why I am expecting an efficient match at Amex Stadium. The French side have currently one point more, but I don't expect to defend. Their coach Gatuso is not a man that like calculations, he is fighter. He is between rare Italian coaches that want good football. And De Zerbi is also well known for his good football. The reverse fixture ended with a 2:2 draw. I am expecting an offensive approach from both coaches again, so this could be an open and efficient match with Over 2. 5 goals.

21:00. Rakow vs Atalanta Pick: Home win @ 2.00 with Everygame

Rakow are fighting for the third place to continue their European campaign. Coach Dawid Szwarga has no important missing players and he will start with the best eleven. The players confidence is now higher, particularly after the victory against Sturm in Austria in the last round. John Yeboah's late goal off the bench in Graz earned the Polish champions their first-ever win in a Europe.

Atalanta, meanwhile, have nothing to play for. Having that in his mind, coach Gasperini will give many of his regular starters a rest to be ready for the weekend clash with Salernitana. The heart of the defense is probably his biggest concern, as backup options Rafael Toloi and Jose Luis Palomino are both injured. Knowing that, it is expected some players from the Primavera side to be promoted to the first team. Gianluca Scamacca and El Bilal Toure are struggling with injuries and should not be risked, while Ademola Lookman and Ederson are expected to be rested.

Rakow should take advantage from the situation and I think they will beat "Atalanta B-Team".

21:00. Sporting vs Sturm Graz Pick: X2 (Draw or Sturm Graz) @ 2.08 with Everygame

I think Sturm could remain unbeaten in Portugal. The hosts will finish second regardless of the result here. With nothing riding on this game for Ruben Amorim's side, they are expected to focus most attention on their huge encounter with Porto at the weekend.

On contrary, Sturm are fighting for third place and they will go fully focused in this match. This will also be Sturm's last match until February, so manager Christian Ilzer will go with the strongest eleven. And I think they could left Lisboa unbeaten.

West Ham vs Freiburg Pick: Over 2. 5 goals @ 1.70 with Pinnacle

West Ham and Freiburg are already guaranteed top-two finish and they will feature in the knock-out stages. However, the outcome of this game is not without importance as they will each be eager to finish top of Group A and avoid the play-off round of Last 32.

West Ham's 2:1 victory in Germany on matchday two means that Freiburg require all three points at the London Stadium to finish as first in Group A. That is why I am expecting an offensive approach from the Germans. And Moyes will accept that, he can't defend in front of their own fans.

As conclusion, I expect an open and efficient match with Over 2. 5 goals.
