If we're talking about tv-series, then it probably would be The Killing. And movie...it's hard to choose. My favorite detective movies are Memories of Murder, The Body, Seven, Gone Baby Gone, Shutter Island and Prisoners.

In the Line of Fire, never saw it until the past year and even my wife who doesn't like those kind of movies really enjoyed it. Totally slipped under my radar forever and glad I finally watched it!
