Europa legue predictions
Barcelona - Eintracht Francfort Barcelona to win
It is clear that Barcelona have been in a renaissance of sorts for the past few months. After being quickly knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage and leaving a mountain of a gap between themselves and the leaders in the league, the Culers have bounced back on the European and domestic stage. In La Liga, the Catalans have repositioned themselves in 2nd place in the league, 12 points behind Real Madrid and with a game in hand. Barça are simply the favourites to win the competition, given their track record and recent results in recent weeks.
Frankfurt showed a very nice face in the first leg by completely upsetting this Barcelona team and even leading the score. Unfortunately for them, and as it has often been the case this season at home, the Germans were unable to get a positive result. This was confirmed on Sunday with a 2-1 league defeat at home to Freiburg.
Barça have won 12 of their last 15 games in all competitions, drawing three.
Frankfurt are on a five-game winless streak, including last weekend's loss to Freiburg.
The absence or not of Pique will undoubtedly be important, Barcelona suffered defensively without him in the league against Levante.
The presence or not of Djibril Sow is also a priori a rather important parameter for this match as he shines in the German midfield.
Our free prediction for Barcelona Eintracht Frankfurt is a win for Barcelona
Glascow Rangers - Braga Rangers win
After a balanced match, Rangers finally lost in Braga last week (1-0). They showed a real lack of efficiency, with no shots on target. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's men finished 2nd in their C3 group. They then pulled off a surprise win over Borussia Dortmund (6-4 on aggregate) before beating Red Star Belgrade in the last eight (4-2 on aggregate). On the domestic scene, the Glasgow-based team is currently second in the standings and will start the group in the first half of the table, which determines the future champion. After falling at home to Celtic (1-2), Morelos' team-mates won easily at St Mirren last weekend (0-4).
Supported by their fans, Braga managed to take a slight option on qualification by winning the first leg by the smallest of margins (1-0). In order to reach this level of the competition, Carlos Carvalhal's men first of all took the 2nd place in group F of this Europa League.
The Rangers have qualified for the final stages of their league but are behind leaders Celtic.
Braga are already almost certain to finish in 4th place in Liga Nos, synonymous with participation in the next Europa League.
Rangers are still without their main attacking asset, Morelos.
Our free prediction for Rangers Braga is victory for Rangers.
