UEFA Nations League
The UEFA Nations League is a biennial international football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the member associations of UEFA, the European governing body of the sport.
The first tournament began in September 2018, following the 2018 Football World Cup. The four group winners of League A qualified for the finals, played in Portugal in June 2019.
The competition largely replaces the international friendlies that were previously on the FIFA international match calendar with more competitive matches.
