Nottingham Forest vs Brentford Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Nottingham Forest:
Turner; Aurier, Worrall, Niakhate, Ainia; Sangare, Yates; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Awoniyi

Brentford:
Flekken; Roerslev, Collins, Pinnock, Hickey; Jensen, Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Wissa, Lewis-Potter

Nottingham Forest will host Brentford at the City Ground in Sunday's sole Premier League clash. The Tricky Trees have started the new season with mixed results. They have two wins, one draw and three defeats after the opening six rounds. Nottingham managed to beat Sheffield United and Chelsea, shared the points with Burnley, while lost to favorites Arsenal, Man United and Man City. The fans could be satisfied with the results, particularly because all three defeats came against teams from Big-6. By the way, all three teams play in the Champions League. Manager Steve Cooper is doing a good job and I believe the club officials are satisfy. Considering Nottingham Forest have already faced four Big-6 teams, Cooper and his men should be happy with the overall results. According to some pundits, the opponents in the next period could be rated as easier. Of course, if there are easy opponents in England at all. The injury situation is much better at the moment. Cooper has most of his players available, only two of them are struggling with injury - Brazilian midfielder Danilo and Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares.

Brentford are one place and one point behind Nottingham Forest on the table. Six points from six matches isn't something that could satisfy the fans. Thomas Frank's men had a strong start to the season, drawing 2:2 with Tottenham Hotspur in the opening round before beating Fulham 3:0 at Craven Cottage. However, the current form is poor, they have failed to register a victory in the last four league matches. To be worse, the Bees have recorded back-to-back losses in the last two rounds. Brentford suffered a narrow 1:0 defeat to Newcastle United at St James Park before enduring a 3:1 home defeat against struggling Everton last weekend. That was the Toffees their first league victory of the season. It is clear where is the problem - the Bees have scored just one goal in the previous three league fixtures. The absence of key striker Ivan Toney is definitely a big problem, but he is still banned. The 27-year-old Brentford and England forward is suspended until January 2024 due to gambling activities. In addition, Rico Henry, Kevin Schade, Josh Dasilva, Ben Mee, Mikkel Damsgaard and Shandon Baptiste are all out injured.

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford Prediction:

I expect an interesting match and I think Nottingham Forest are closer to the victory. The home advantage is one of the reasons, but there are two more. They are connect with each of the teams. Brentford look out of form at the moment, they lost the previous two matches in the Premier League. To be worse, the Bees have scored just one goal in the previous three league fixtures. Key striker Ivan Toney remain out due to suspension and his absence is a huge handicap. Cooper, meanwhile, has most of his players available and I think they won't lose.

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford Pick: Nottingham Forest +0.5 AH @ 1.52 with Pinnacle

Fulham vs Chelsea Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Fulham:
Leno; Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Palhinha, Reed; Decordova-Reid, Pereira, Iwobi; Jimenez

Chelsea:
Sanchez; Cucurella, Disasi, Silva, Colwill; Caicedo, Fernandez, Gallagher; Palmer, Sterling, Mudryk

Fulham welcome Chelsea to Craven Cottage in the West London derby on Monday night. Usually the Blues are higher on the table, but this time is different. Chelsea are 15th with only five points, while the Cottagers sit four places above and have collect eight points. Fulham have a balanced record of two wins, two draws and two defeats. The victories were obtain against Everton and Luton Town, while the draw with Arsenal at the Emirats was very valuable. The second draw was against Crystal Palace in the last round. In the midweek they triumphed over Norwich in the Carabao Cup, however paid a high prize. Defender Calvin Bassey suffered a recurrence of a previous back injury and will be out in the next period. Tosin Adarabioyo and Adama Traore are also confirmed absentees, while Kenny Tete and Sasa Lukic are both rated as doubtful with groin and knee injury respectively. Some players that were rested in midweek should be back in the starting eleven - Andreas Pereira, Bernd Leno, Tim Ream, Antonee Robinson and Harrison Reed. Marco Silva has no suspension worries.

The Blues have started the new season in awful way. They have one win, two draws and three defeats after the first six rounds. The home draw with Liverpool could be rated as acceptable, though the defeats to West Ham, Nottingham and Aston Villa opened some questions about the players quality. The atmosphere in the squad is poor, while the players confidence is at lowest point. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is under enormous pressure and another defeat could cost him a job. American owner Todd Boehly has already sacked three coaches - Thomas Tuchel, Frank Lampard and Graham Potter. The long injury list is a big problem for the Argentine coach. Ben Chilwell is the latest victim. He suffered a hamstring injury in the midweek and the left-back will be sidelined in the next period. His absence is a big handicap for the Blues. Seven players were already struggling with injury - Romeo Lavia, Benoit Badiashile, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Marcus Bettinelli and Trevoh Chalobah. Two more - Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke - might be ready in time for this match. To be more complicated, Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto are both suspended. Armando Broja has recovered from his devastating knee injury.

Fulham vs Chelsea Prediction:

Chelsea will try to register the second victory in the Premier League when they visit Fulham on Monday. So far the results are poor and manager Mauricio Pochettino is under enormous pressure. Another defeat could mean his change. Don't forget the American owner Todd Boehly has already sacked names like Thomas Tuchel, Frank Lampard and Graham Potter last year. And they were not that bad. However, Chelsea are in must win situation and they will go for a victory. Fulham play at home and I believe they are able to score. Just to remind You, the Cottagers scored twice against Arsenal and also managed to find the back of the net against Manchester City earlier.
