Leicester City

They do not play well this season, getting 2W-2D-3L this season so far. Now they rank the thirteenth in the table of the League. If they do not struggle hard, they are unlikely to qualify for European games.

Manchester United

They were the second in last season. Undoubtedly they want to win the title this season. They play better after Cristiano Ronaldo joins in the team. He has scored 3 goals for Man Utd in EPL this season so far.

Verdict:

Manchester United are better than Leicester City at present. Leicester City are not in form. Manchester United are in good condition. In last season, Leicester City get a winning streak from Manchester United. It is time for Manchester United to make a revenge.

Prediction: 1-2, 1-3

Watford vs Liverpool Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Watford:
Foster, Femenía, Nkoulou, Troost-Ekong, Rose, Kucka, Sissoko, Sarr, Cleverley, Dennis, Pedro

Liverpool:
Kelleher, Milner, Matip, Gomez, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Jones, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Watford host Liverpool at Vicarage Road in the early Saturday kick-off. The Hornets didn't start the season according to the expectations. They are close to the drop zone with seven points from the first seven rounds. Watford beat Aston Villa and Norwich City, shared the points with Newcastle, while lost the remaining four fixtures. Some of the opponents were part of a Big-6, like Tottenham, but most of the defeats came from other teams - Brighton, Wolverhampton and Leeds United. Probably that was the main reason why the club officials decided to change the manager Xisco Munoz. The fans are full of optimism following the appointment of the "Tinker Man" Claudio Ranieri. As You probably know, the Italian coach won the title with Leicester City few years ago. Even more, he has a decent home career record against Liverpool from his time at Valencia, Chelsea and Leicester - four victories , one draw and just one defeat. I must admit I was surprised by the club decision to sack Xisco Munoz. Seven points from seven rounds isn't great result, but it is far from a bad. I am not sure about the club ambitions, but it is very unrealistic anybody to expect big success because Ranieri is a new manager. But who knows, maybe I am wrong, maybe we will witness another miracle in the Premier League. For this match Ranieri has four worries. Centre-backs Christian Kabasele and Francisco Sierralta are sidelined due to injury, so Nicolas Nkoulou, who signed on a free during the international break, may start here. Peter Etebo is also sidelined, while Joshua King is rated as doubtful.

Liverpool started the new season in solid way. They have collected 15 points and sit on the second position in the Premier League, one point behind the leaders Chelsea. Klopp's men also secured a dramatic 3:2 win over AC Milan and a high 5:0 win over Porto in the Champions League. Plus, they eliminated Norwich in EFL Cup. But lets focus on the Premier League now. The Reds managed to beat Norwich City, Burnley, Leeds United and Crystal Palace, while shared the points with Chelsea, Brentford and Manchester City. These three results showed something very important - Liverpool are not strong like two years ago when they won the title. For example, Chelsea remained unbeaten despite being reduced to 10 men after Reece James was sent-off in the finish of the first half. Liverpool didn't deserve to win that match, they had possession, but failed to create goal opportunities. The last round's derby against Manchester City showed the superiority of Guardiola's men. The Reds were lucky to escape the defeat, despite the fact they lead twice. Only the individual performances of Alisson and Salah prevented them from the first loss of the season. Just to mentioned, the draws with Chelsea and Man City were obtained at Anfield. Finally, three conceded goals from newly-promoted Brentford showed the vulnerability of the defense. For this match Klopp has lot of issues. He will be without Brazilian duo Alisson Becker and Fabinho. The are on international duty with the Brazilian squad and can't return on time for this game. The Selecao will play their match against Uruguay on Friday. Striker Roberto Firmino, who wasn't called up, has recovered from injury and could start alongside Salah and Mane in the attack. Thiago Alcantara, Neco Williams, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita are all rated as doubtful.

Watford vs Liverpool Prediction
:

The trip to Vicarage Road is something of a bogey fixture for Jurgen Klopp. He has suffered two defeats in his five visits, with both those defeats coming by convincing 3:0 scorelines. This time will be even more difficult for two reasons. First is connect with the fact Klopp will be missing some important players, like Alisson and Fabinho. Second, Watford have new manager and this could be a trigger for the home players. I expect the Hornets to cover the handicap.

Leicester City vs Manchester United Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Leicester City:
Schmeichel; Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Bertrand; Lookman, Soumare, Tielemans, Barnes; Vardy, Iheanacho

Manchester United:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo

Leicester City welcome Manchester United in a derby match of the 8th round at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Foxes will try to make a positive result, though the overall league form isn't at desired level. Brendan Rodgers' men have no win on the last four matches in the Premier League. They dropped four points on two, relatively easy fixtures, playing a 2:2 draw with Burnley and Crystal Palace. Previously they lost from high-flying Brighton and Manchester City. These results have affected their position on the table and currently sit on the 13th place, far away from the Top-Four. Knowing their ambitions are connect with the Champions League spots, I am sure the fans are disappointed. Brendan Rodgers is under big pressure and another poor result could complicate his position. It is clear the busy schedule is the biggest problem for Leicester's players. The Foxes are participating in UEFA Europa League, but have just one point after the first two rounds. They lost to Polish side Legia, while shared the points with Napoli. Rodgers is not blessed with the squad depth of his counterpart Solskjaer and has limited options for rotation. For this match he will be without Wesley Fofana, James Justin and Wilfred Ndidi through injury. Centre-back Jonny Evans didn't represent Northern Ireland during the international break due to illness, but might play here. Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy will probably lead the line.

Manchester United will look for three points in this match. They are sharing the third place on the table, but the last results are not at desired level. The Red Devils have no win on the last two matches in the Premier League. To be worse, both matches were played at Old Trafford. United lost 1:0 to Aston Villa and played just an 1:1 draw with Everton in the last round. The bad results have increased the pressure on the actual manager Ole Gunar Solskjaer. The reason is because the club brought three top players in the squad - Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane - and the fans are expecting more. Ronaldo marked his return with several important goals, however that wasn't enough always. To be worse, the Red Devils were eliminated from the EFL Cup after they lost 1:0 to West Ham. Their Champions League campaign started with a nightmare defeat by the group outsiders Young Boys in Switzerland. They beat Villarreal in the second match of the group with last-minute goal by Ronaldo, but the atmosphere in the squad is far from ideal. Solskjaer has some additional issues, particularly in defense. Harry Maguire is struggling with a calf injury and he is unlikely to play here. To be worse, Raphael Varane is sidelined due to a groin injury. Fred and Edinson Cavani are unavailable due to late comeback from international duty.

Leicester City vs Manchester United Prediction:

I expect Under 2.5 goals at the King Power Stadium. Manchester United have a deadly attack, however, they managed to score just one goal on the last two matches. Leicester, meanwhile, look out of form. The Foxes have no win on the last four matches in the Premier League, plus two games in UEFA Europa League. The players confidence isn't high at the moment, so I expect a low scoring match.

Leicester City vs Manchester United Pick:
Under 2.5 goals @ 2.14 with Pinnacle

Newcastle vs Tottenham Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Newcastle:
Darlow; Fernandez, Lascelles, Clark; Manquillo, Willock, Hayden, Longstaff, Ritchie; Wilson, Saint-Maximin

Tottenham:
Lloris; Tanganga, Rodon, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Skipp; Lucas, Ndombele, Son; Harry Kane

The biggest story from the past couple weeks is the Saudi takeover of Newcastle and its ethical and competitive ramifications. Nevertheless, the job is finished and Newcastle will enter a new era when they host Tottenham at St James Park. This match is set to be the first under their new owners. As You probably know, the $400 million takeover by the Saudi "Public Investment Fund" initially collapsed last year over concerns about how much control the kingdom’s leadership would have in the running of the club. PIF have had to offer assurances that its chairman, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will not have any control of the running of Newcastle United. It means the 14-year ownership of the British retail tycoon Mike Ashley came to the end. Newcastle fans didn't like him because his ownership was marked by a general lack of ambition despite the club attracting regular home crowds of more than 50,000. The Magpies have not won a major trophy for 66 years, since their FA Cup victory in 1955. The last league title was won in 1927. New players will surely be attracted and Newcastle are some names are already linked with Newcastle, like Philippe Coutinho and Kalidou Koulibaly. The fans are expecting a new manager and Steve Bruce's time at St James' Park is limited. The main reason is connect with the poor results this season. They sit 19th in the table as one of four sides without a win in the season. Bruce has confirmed that Martin Dubravka and Paul Dummett are the only two absentees for this game.

Tottenham play a very inconsistent season. They had started with three straight victories, the reigning champions Manchester City among the victims. But then came the defeats, three in a row. One of these defeats was particularly painful as it came from arch-rivals Arsenal. New manager Nuno Espirito Santo came under big pressure. His record in London derbies was awful following three successive defeats to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal. The Spurs currently sit in the middle of the table with 12 points. They managed to beat Aston Villa with 2:1 before the international break. The victory came after three straight league losses, so it is very important. The Spurs produced a display that was far from perfect, but at least showcased a better defensive organization and attacking edge. Son Heung-min was the key name, providing two assists. Harry Kane looked much better and he was more involved in the final third than of late. The goals came from the unlikely sources - midfielder Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg and an own goal by one of opponents. It was the first goal of the season for Hojbjerg. A high 5:1 win against Mura in the Europa Conference League, in which Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, surely helped to boost the players confidence. The guests could be without Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Bergwijn through injury, while Ben Davies has returned to training following an illness. Matt Doherty picked up a knock over the break and he is doubtful. The situation with the availability of South American quartet Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal is not clear, but according to the latest news they could be in the squad after arriving back in the UK on Friday. Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon should deputize if necessary. The Spurs have reported two positive coronavirus cases ahead of this clash, but their identities are unknown.

Newcastle vs Tottenham Prediction:

I expect at least three goals at St James Park. Tottenham will go for the victory, no doubt about that. But now I expect more from Newcastle. The new owners will be at the stadium, while the fans are dreaming about the trophies. The Magpies can not afford to play "catenaccio" in this game. Every player will try to impress, including the manager Bruce. I expect an open and efficient game.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Lokonga; Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Aubameyang

Crystal Palace:
Guaita; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; McArthur, Milivojevic, Gallagher; Ayew, Edouard, Zaha

Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace in the last match of the 8th round at the Emirats Stadium on Monday night. There will be some emotions as Palace manager is the former Gunners Patrick Vieira. The Premier League and FA Cup-winning captain will certainly receive a warm welcome from the Emirates fans. However, everything will be different after the first whistle. The sentimentality will disappear for 90 minutes as both teams will try to win. The hosts are on the 13th place with 10 points and this is extremely important match. A victory here could see them at least four places higher, between the teams fighting for European spots. But another failure will definitely increase the pressure on actual manager Mikel Arteta, regardless of the fact he was named 'Manager of the month' in September. The Spaniard fully deserved the price as Arsenal have collected 10 from the possible 12 points on the last four matches. The Gunners managed to beat Norwich, Burnley and Tottenham, while shared the points with Brighton in the last round. The big news is connect with defense as new 'Number One' Aaron Ramsdale has conceded just one goal on the last four matches. Even that goal was unimportant, coming at 3:0 lead against Tottenham. Arteta has the majority of his players available, only Granit Xhaka is long-term injury victim. Gabriel Martinelli picked up a minor injury while on international duty and he is rated as doubtful.

Crystal Palace are on the 14th place in the Premier League table with seven points. I think this is a solid result as they had difficult opponents. In the first match of the new season they lost 3:0 to Chelsea and then shared the points with Brentford and high-flying West Ham. The best result was obtained in the fourth round when they obtained a hugely impressive 3:0 triumph over Tottenham. But then came another high defeat as Palace lost 3:0 to Liverpool at Anfield.. However, I think it's not a shame to lose at Stamford Bridge or Anfield as Chelsea and Liverpool are between the best teams in the league. In the last two rounds the Eagles shared the points with Brighton and Leicester City. The last match showed something positive in fact that Patrick Vieira's men never gave up. They found themselves 2:0 down against Leicester following strikes from Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho, but substitutes Michael Olise and Jeffrey Schlupp turned the game on its head to rescue a point for Palace. Vieira is still without long-term absentees Eberechi Eze and Nathan Ferguson, but all the other players are available. The manager has some sweet issues about the starting eleven. The 19-year-old Olise will push Jordan Ayew all the way for a place in attack. Captain Luka Milivojevic will try to improve his record of five goals from eight matches against Arsenal. Nevertheless, it depends from the situation as four of those five goals have come from the penalty spot.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Prediction:

Arsenal are in excellent form, they have three victories and one draw on the last four matches. But in terms of goals, they are not too efficient. Arsenal have scored just five goals in their opening seven league games, their fewest at this stage of a season since 1986/87. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, failed to score against Chelsea and Liverpool. To be worse, the away form isn't at desired level - they have won only one of their last nine away league fixtures, losing six in the process. I expect an interesting match, though I don't see many goals.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Pick: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.03 with Pinnacle
