Rolling with the Boston Celtics here against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Boston simply has too many weapons. With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the offense, the Celtics have multiple guys who can create their own shot and take over stretches of the game. Cleveland leans heavily on Donovan Mitchell, and if Boston throws their perimeter defenders at him all night, that offense can stall.
Another big edge is Boston’s spacing. With shooters all over the floor and Kristaps Porziņģis pulling bigs away from the paint, Cleveland’s interior defense becomes less effective. That opens driving lanes and kick-out threes all night.
Defensively the Celtics also match up well. Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are elite perimeter defenders who can make life difficult for the Cavs’ guards.
At the end of the day, Boston has the deeper roster, better perimeter defense, and more shot creators in crunch time.
