Barcelona - Galatasaray
This game tends to be one of the easiest confrontations of this phase of the Europa League. On the one hand, Xavi's Barcelona is increasingly finding itself and presenting good football, even if it is not comparable to what we are used to seeing from the Catalan team in the last decade, Barça comes from a good victory against Napoli and it is the 3 place in La Liga. on the other, Galatasaray's team has been going through a moment of gigantic instability, the 12th placed team in the Turkish championship has only 2 wins in the last 11 games and has only 8 points more than the first club in the relegation zone.

Barcelona favouritism increases even more because the first game is at their home, Camp Nou. At the beginning of the year, the Galatasaray team went through a moment of exclusive dedication to the Turkish championship and even so had four consecutive defeats, which ended up leading to the dismissal of coach Fatih Terim, replaced by Domenec Torrent, who after a bad start is managing to fix the club, however in all his works the Catalan coach, who was once an assistant to Guardiola, has a history of many goals conceded.
Barcelona is the team with the most absences, the team does not have Daniel Alves, Ansu Fati, Gavi, Umtiti, Sergi Roberto and Alex Balde.
The Turkish team comes without Turan, Feghouli, Kaan Arslan and Yılmaz.

My bets for this game
Barcelona over 1.5 goals @1.22 (bet365)

Both teams score @2.22 (bet365) (even in good form Barcelona continues to concede goals in matches)

It is also worth keeping an eye on the Gabonese player Aubameyang who in 7 games scored in 5 opportunities.

Score anytime - Aubameyang @1.50 (bet365)

Atalanta will play against Bayer Leverkusen as host on Friday.

Atalanta:
The team was defeated by Roma in the last round, which with 3 wins, 3 draws, 4 losses in past 10 games. However, after being eliminated in the Champions League, Atalanta performed stably in the Europa League and beat Olympiakos Piraeus 5-1 in two rounds. They had 2 wins and 1 draw in last three home games with stable home performance.

Bayer Leverkusen:
Bayer Leverkusen drew with Bayern Munchen in the last round of the league and defeated Dortmund 5-2. However, their away performance is not good, which with 3 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses in the last 10 away games, and 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss in the last three Europa League away games. They did well in offensive sides with scoring 2.7 goals per game while conceding 1.6 goals with the bad performance of defensive sides in past 10 games, which has no impact on away against Atalanta.

Verdict:
There is no record between the two sides in the past and there is no obvious psychological advantage. The handicap first odd of this game started at- 0.5 for Atalanta. The support seems not enough. At present, Atalanta has remained 2 wins on home field, while Bayer Leverkusen has been performed bad on away games, which reflects the lack of intention of Atalanta. Therefore, Bayer Leverkusen will be unbeaten in this game.

Barcelona will try to get closer to the quarter-finals of the Europa League when they welcome Galatasaray to Camp Nou. The Catalans have eliminated Napoli in the previous stage, while the Turkish Giants qualified first from the group stage in Europe's second-tier competition. Of course, Barca area strong favorites in this clash as they look much better in the last period. Xavi is doing an excellent job and I am sure the fans are satisfied. In the first knock-out round they have eliminated the Italian outfit Napoli. After being held to a 1:1 draw at Camp Nou in the first leg, the Blaugrana showed their class by winning 4:2 in Naples. Barcelona were also good in domestic La Liga, winning 2:1 against Elche on Sunday. Ferran Torres and Memphis Depay both came off the bench to turn out the result which represented their fourth win across all competitions. The atmosphere in the squad is positive, while the players confidence is high. But Xavi has some injury and suspension worries ahead of the match. Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Samuel Umtiti and Alejandro Balde remain out injured, while teenage midfielder Gavi is out suspended after picked up three yellow cards in European competition. Torres can expect a replace Gavi, while Sergino Dest will return to the defense in place of the ineligible Dani Alves.

Galatasaray are the most famous and most successful Turkish club. However, right now they are in some sort of crisis, out of the title fight in domestic SuperLig. In fact, they dropped into the bottom half of the table. The club officials were forced to react and the coaching legend Fatih Terim was replaced by Domenec Torrent. Nevertheless, the European campaign was much better and they are unbeaten in the 2021-22 Europa League season. The group was not easy, the opponents were Marseille, Lazio and Lokomotiv Moscow, but the Turkish outfit managed to register a home win and away draw against each of them. At the end they have collected 12 points from a possible 18 to qualify for the knock-out phase as group winners. But the warm up for Barcelona wasn't successful as they suffered a 2:0 defeat away to Konyaspor. What is worse, Galatasaray are in series of 10 matches in all competitions without a clean sheet. The former first-choice goalkeeper Fernando Muslera will probably start on the bench as Barcelona loanee Inaki Pena has established himself as new Number One. The former Blaugrana striker Arda Turan will probably miss the match due to a groin injury, while Sofiane Feghouli and Kaan Arslan were also absent from the squad to face Konyaspor for the weekend.

Barcelona vs Galatasaray Prediction
:

Barcelona are in excellent form, they play much better since Xavi took the team. The home advantage should also be mentioned, Barca have suffered just two defeats in their last 35 European knock-out matches at Camp Nou, Galatasaray are the most successful Turkish club and they should not be underestimated, regardless of the fact their current form isn't at desired level. They will put the focus on defense, so I think they won't lose too high.

Barcelona vs Galatasaray Pick
