Do You Have Different 'Personalities' for Different Sports?

Princess that might actually improve your results.

You'd go from betting 20 games a week to 1-2 games a week.

Volume would drop but quality would improve.

Entertainment betting: multiple sports, personality fragmentation acceptable.

Profit betting: specialized sports, consistency mandatory.

Different goals require different approaches.

Real question: is the personality fragmentation BAD or just different?

Like maybe being conservative on some sports and aggressive on others is fine?

Fragmentation problematic if goals inconsistent.

If betting all sports for profit, personality inconsistency indicates flawed methodology.

If betting some for profit (disciplined) and some for entertainment (casual), fragmentation acceptable.

Klaus is right.

The problem is when you THINK you're being disciplined across all sports but you're actually only disciplined on one.

Leads to false confidence in overall approach.

That's exactly my issue.

I think I'm a "sharp bettor" but really I'm only sharp on NFL/MLB.

NBA/NHL I'm a complete square.

My self-image doesn't match reality.

This thread is making me realize I should probably stop betting football and horses.

Just stick to rugby.

But I won't.

Because I like having action on different stuff.

Taffy's admission revealing.

Knows should specialize. Won't because enjoys diversification.

Entertainment value overriding profit optimization.

Yeah Klaus you got me.

I'd rather have fun betting multiple sports than maximize profit on one.

i dont have the luxury of choosing... bet everything because need action not because want entertainment or profit... just compulsion across all sports...

Right. Conor has ONE personality - chaotic compulsive - applied to all sports.

The rest of us fragment into different personalities per sport.

Here's a question: what sport brings out your WORST betting personality?

For me it's NBA live betting. Pure degeneracy.
