Cyber Attacks On Online Gambling Sites

For the last three weeks online poker sites have been experiencing increasing attacks from around the world. These attacks appear to be focused on data centers and thus, are affecting multiple poker, sportsbook, and casino sites world wide.

It's normal, the big sites(softwares) are always subject to attacks. I rarely hear about someone attacking wordpress blog

No, these attacks are not of the normal scope. 888 Sport, party, Carbon, WPN all were hit during big tournaments, at very costly times. We have a followup article in the works to describe more of what has happened, but the scope an scale required to take down some of these big publicly traded sites is noteworthy stuff.
