Because as Albert Einstein quoted - No one can possibly win at roulette unless he steals money from the table while the croupier isn’t looking. The Internet is full of people selling betting systems with promises of beating the casino at gambling but we all know that the house edge can never be beaten in roulette, for instance.

Yes, there can be made a living playing the roulette, but playing exclusively in land based casinos, using combo-systems, and setting very firm money management rules, including won per day or lost per day rules, before call it end to that day. Probably not more than a dozens or so people are doing it to the degree of making a very good living from it. By this I mean at least $100,000 net winnings per year.
It's a lot easier in sports betting though.

However it's criminal to try any kind of systems at any online casino, even at the so called ones with live croupiers. Every online casino is rigged against system players at roulette...

Many years ago, maybe 9-10, I have spent about 4 month of all of my free time on 2 forums dedicated exclusively to roulette, full with people passioned about roulette, testing systems, looking for that legendary "holy grail" system of roulette.
I tried some systems of my own too, using random generators. But after that time I left, and returned exclusively to sports betting...
After all, all those very serious guys, trying for years and years, with hundreds and thousands of posts on those forums have not found anything safe enough yet...

Well I respect both of your opinions, after all gambling is just another leisure activity. I don't take it seriously. For me, gambling/betting is just pure fun and entertainment.

Of course it is, unfortunately some people get too much into it and then the leisure turns to something bad, after all a balanced style of living is the answer to everything
