Hello,

I have just started to learn about XML feeds. I was wondering if anyone uses them for betting, and if so, how you incorporate them? Are there any feeds you recommend?

Is there anything I should definitely avoid before I start using them?

Thanks everyone!

Basicaly the xml feeds provide you with data of all the current odds on the bookmaker. It's useful if you have a website and want to publish odds or if you are a large bettor, I know you need xml parser to use it, but I never used xml feeds.

You can use XML to extract odds and track history, I think pinaclesports gives this

Basically, XML feeds are not for humans but for search engine robots. Every site needs it to let search engines crawl any newly created web page of your site.

No, he is talking about the feed that sportsbooks offer with their odds. These are mostly used by webmasters to build comparison tools.

It is important to note that sportsbooks usually have a 10-15 minute lag in updating their feeds.

If you are looking for lines history, I find Vegas Insider's live odds very helpful. If you click one of the pointspreads, it will take you to a page that shows you the history of the line movement. However, they think they mostly deal with American sports.

Does anyone know of any website/service that offer XML feeds from multiple bookies?
