What Does Your Betting Space Look Like and Does It Affect Your Decisions?

My betting environment has remained largely unchanged for thirty years, I have a desk in what Margaret and I always called the study though I suppose it is now simply my study, the desk faces a window overlooking the garden which I find conducive to clear thinking, I have a desktop computer, a printer for records, and several filing cabinets containing decades of betting history and analysis, the room is quiet and separate from the main living areas of the house which creates psychological distance between betting activities and daily life, I have found that maintaining a consistent physical environment for betting creates consistency in decision-making process, when I attempted mobile betting while sitting in other rooms of the house or outside the house entirely my decision quality deteriorated noticeably, the ritual of sitting at this specific desk and opening my specific spreadsheets creates a mental framework that discourages impulsive betting.

Prof that sounds lovely mate.

Proper organized setup.

Prof's setup is similar to mine. Dedicated space creates dedicated mindset.

Princess you're tired, in a relaxed state, probably half-watching the game.

Not optimal conditions for financial decisions.

Betting while fatigued reduces cognitive function significantly.

Bed = fatigue state = impaired judgment.

i bet in bed constantly... wake up middle of night check phone see a game on bet it... morning regret...

Mate you should try that.

Phone in the kitchen overnight.

Can't bet if you have to get out of bed.

Incremental friction better than no friction.

Even small barriers reduce impulsive behavior frequency.

Back to the original question - anyone have weird betting spaces?

Like does anyone bet from their car or something?
