Treble Premier League news today
Paul Robinson has picked out a 21/1 treble from this free soccer tips, and it starts with a home win at Bramall Lane. Here are his selections:
Wilder's men to call the tune against the Canaries
Bet 1: Back Sheffield United @ 4/6
The Blades extended their unbeaten run to five matches in midweek, and in turn, booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. They did require extra time lớn beat Reading, but it was still their fourth win from their last five games.
Norwich also made it through lớn the last eight of the cup, thanks to a penalty shoot-out win soccer tip for today at Spurs. That came on the back of a 1-0 victory over Leicester, and Daniel Farke's side are at least giving their fans some hope of survival.
The fact remains though that the Canaries are still bottom of the table - six points adrift of safety. They have taken just six points on the road this term, and it's four defeats from their last five - scoring just one goal during that period.
Ralph Hasenhüttl lớn be left disappointed
Bet 2: Back The Draw in Southampton v Newcastle @ 3/1
The Saints are expected lớn beat Newcastle at St Mary's this weekend, but they have won just one of their last six in all competitions, and their sole victory came against an Aston Villa team who were dreadful on the day.
Newcastle put a couple of away defeats behind them by drawing 0-0 with Burnley last weekend, and then winning 3-2 at the Hawthorns in the cup on Tuesday. The fact that they are through lớn the quarter-finals of the FA Cup will please their fans no end, and Steve Bruce appears lớn be winning over the doubters.
He would have been delighted by the three goals against West Brom, especially as Miguel Almiron netted two of them. It won't be easy at Southampton, but they are more than capable of taking a point.
Wily Palace to pick up another point
Bet 3: Back The Draw in Crystal Palace v Watford @ 9/4
Just when it looked like Crystal Palace could be dragged into a relegation battle, in typical Roy Hodgson style, they pulled out a couple of 1-0 wins. They are now back up to 12th, with 36 points, and that's even having scored just 25 goals in 28 games.
Watford are the visitors lớn Selhurst Park on Saturday, and they pulled off one of the biggest shocks in Premier League history by ending Liverpool's long unbeaten run in resounding style.
Nigel Pearson's men needed that win, as their results had deteriorated after a bright start under his leadership. They are still bang in trouble, but they are at least out of the relegation zone - even if it is only on goal-difference.
Palace can be a hard team to beat though, and they certainly won't afford them the space that Liverpool did. The draw looks like the best play in this one.
