The 'Tilt' Confessional: What's the Stupidest Rage-Bet You've Ever Made?

I literally close all my betting apps for 24 hours after a bad beat. Just delete them from my phone temporarily. Can't tilt bet if I physically can't access the books.
 
I have rule: No betting within 2 hours of losing bet.

Forces cooling-off period. Prevents emotional decisions.

Broken rule twice in 14 years. Both times resulted in losses.
 
I use the 48-hour rule. If I lose 3+ units in a day, mandatory 48-hour break. No exceptions.

Has saved me thousands over the years.
 
These are all really good ideas! I should probably do something like this but I know I won't lol

honestly lads reading this thread is making me realize how much of a problem i actually have... like you lot have rules and systems to prevent tilt betting and im over here just betting on literally everything all the time... maybe i should actually get help like you all said in that other thread...
 
Conor if you're being serious, yes. You should. We've all been saying it for a while now.
 
Not to derail but yeah Conor, if every thread makes you realize you have a problem, you definitely have a problem.

i appreciate it honestly but i dont want to make another thread about my issues... just wanted to share some stupid bets like everyone else... ill deal with my stuff on my own time...
 
Oh god yes. Lost a bunch on NFL one Sunday, immediately bet Korean baseball at 4am because it was the only thing live. Had no idea who any of the teams were. Lost obviously.
 
I bet on cricket once after a bad day! CRICKET! I'm American, I don't even know the rules! Lost like $50 and didn't even understand what I was watching lol
 
Bet on Aussie Rules Football once.

No clue what was happening.

Just saw odds and hit bet.

Lost.

Never again.
