Premier League leaders Arsenal welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium in a derby match of the round. The Gunners have 21 points after secured seven victories in the first eight rounds. Arsenal are in good form after as they won the last two league matches. They beat Brentford 3:0 before the international break thanks to goals scored by William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and young Fabio Vieira. Last weekend they beat Tottenham 3:1 in North London derby. Gabriel Jesus was once again between the scorers, while the remaining two goals were scored by Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. Arteta's men also secured a 3:0 victory against Bodo/Glimt in midweek. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is high. The fans are dreaming about the title, though it is unrealistic as Manchester City are class above all the other. Arteta has some injury worries as Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe remain sidelined, while Oleksanr Zinchenko is rated as doubtful. The Ukraine international has missed the last game due to a calf injury.

Liverpool are definitely in crisis. They are in the middle of the table with 10 points from seven matches. Or maybe with different words, Liverpool have already dropped 11 points. Many believed the international break came in right moment, but the poor results continued. Last weekend the Reds were huge favorites against Brighton at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp's men showed great character to turn around a two-goal deficit against the Seagulls and had 3:2 in the second half, but an inspired Leandro Trossard equalized the result in the finish of the match. Liverpool managed to beat 2:0 Glasgow Rangers in the Champions League on Tuesday. Two set pieces decided the match: Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick and Mohamed Salah's penalty. The German coach started the match with four strikers - Salah, Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz. Most probably Klopp will return to his old system with three up front. Midfielders Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Arthur remain sidelined with injuries. Curtis Jones returned to training on Thursday, but this match is coming too soon for him. Left-back Andy Robertson is at least a week away from returning from the knee issue, so Tsimikas should continue to deputize.

Arsenal vs Liverpool Prediction:

Arsenal are leaders in the Premier League, Arsenal are in good form and Arsenal play at home. These three things should be enough for the Gunners not to lose the derby. Liverpool are far from their best and Klopp feels huge pressure. The Reds conceded three goals from Brighton last week and the players confidence is questionable.
