The leaders Arsenal will welcome the city rivals Crystal Palace to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners are big favorites in this match, but Crystal Palace should not be underestimated. Until the last month they were undefeated. Manager Oliver Glasner is doing a fantastic job and the club hierarchy is afraid he could attract interest from top European clubs. However, Crystal Palace's unbeaten start of the season ended three weeks ago at Everton. The Eagles were leading at halftime thanks to Daniel Munoz and everything looked fine. But Everton managed to turn-out the result by scoring two goals. Palace were close to another defeat against Bournemouth, but rescued a draw thanks to a heroic Jean-Philippe Mateta hat-trick. But the poor results continued in Europe too. The FA Cup winners suffered a 1:0 defeat to Cypriot side AEK Larnaka on Thursday. To be worse, the defeat came at Selhurst Park. It is too early to make any concludes, but Oliver Glasner's side are in some sort of crisis. He has the majority of his players available, but Caleb Kporha, Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad remain out injured.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Prediction:
As I already wrote, Arsenal are big favorites in this match. Crystal Palace should not be underestimated, but everything depend on Arsenal. The Gunners play at home, they are in excellent form and they are hungry for trophies. Furthermore, the Gunners are able to win even on bad day thanks to Nicolas Jover, their set-piece coach. The leaders have registered their 10th set-piece goal in just eight Premier League games this season, the quickest time a team has ever hit double figures in the competition. I expect Arsenal to win in handicap, but Your money will return back in case of narrow victory.
