Arsenal vs Everton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Ryan; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Xhaka; Thomas, Ceballos; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Saka; Aubameyang

Everton:
Pickford; Keane, Godfrey, Holgate; Coleman, Davies, Allan, Digne; Rodriguez; Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Arsenal welcome the top-four pretenders Everton at the Emirats Stadium on Friday evening. The Gunners are sitting on the 9th place with 46 points,. They are three points behind their actual opponents - Everton have 49. Considering the superior goal difference, Arsenal could overtake the 8th place, at least temporary because the Toffees have a match in hand. Arteta's players are in solid form, they have two victories and one draw on the last three matches across all competitions. First they beat Sheffield United with 3:0. Alexandre Lacazette scored a brace, while Martinelli also found the back of the net. After that Arsenal secured another victory, this time in UEFA Europa League. The North London outfit were in complicated situation after playing just 1:1 with Slavia Prague at the Emirats. However, they showed their class and secured a high 4:0 win in Czech Republic. Arteta's players produced one of their best performance of the season and secured the progress. Lacazette scored another brace, while Pepe and Saka also put their names on the scoring list. They will face Spanish side Villarreal in the semi-finals. What is interesting, Villarreal are managed by the former Arsenal boss Unai Emery. The players confidence was very high after these two straight victories, so everybody was expecting an easy three points against relegation-candidates Fulham on Sunday. But it wasn't that way, it was just the opposite. Arsenal dropped two points playing an 1:1 draw. Arteta has some players unavailable for this match. David Luiz and Kieran Tierney are out injured, as well as Alexandre Lacazette. On the positive note, Martin Odegaard is ready after overcoming a foot injury. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was hospitalized with malaria, may recover in time for this match.

As I already wrote above, Everton are one place and three points ahead of Arsenal. The Toffees also have a match in hand, so the gap with the fourth-placed Chelsea could be reduced to only three points. This is the reason why I expect Everton's players to enter the match fully motivated. But the actual form isn't at desired level, they have no win on the last five league games. Everton lost to Chelsea and Burnley, while shared the points on the last three matches. The draws with Brighton and Crystal Palace means they dropped four important points, only the last weekend's draw against Tottenham could be evaluated as good result. One thing is clear, Everton must go for victory here. Ancelotti admitted his dreams about the Champions League, but three points from this game are essential. The trip to the Emirats is very tough - Everton have no win on the last 24 Premier League games at the Emirats, losing 20 of them. Everton. With seven matches to go, Everton have a decent chance to secure Top-4 finish, but must obtain a victory here. Gylfi Sigurdsson is in good form, he was involved in five goals in his past seven Premier League appearances. Ancelotti has some injury worries ahead of this match. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are still sidelined, but most of the other have recovered, including the key striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. In adittion, Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina and Bernard are also available.

Arsenal vs Everton Prediction:

This will be the 200th top-flight meeting between Arsenal and Everton. The Gunners are more successful and they are chasing the 99th victory. However, the Toffees will also go for three points. Everton won the reverse fixture in December and they are looking for the first league double since the season 1985/86. It is hard to predict the winners, but I think there will be at least three goals.

Arsenal vs Everton Pick:
Over 2.5 goals @ 2.10 Pinnacle

Liverpool vs Newcastle United Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Kabak, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Thiago, Milner; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Newcastle United:
Dubravka; Murphy, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett, Ritchie; Shelvey, Longstaff; Almiron; Wilson, Joelinton

Liverpool will host Newcastle United at empty Anfield on Saturday lunchtime. The Reds could not be consider as favorites against the Magpies at the moment. Last weekend Klopp's men have dropped two important points at Leeds United. The reigning champions had 1:0 lead thanks to Sadio Mane's goal, but conceded a late goal. Liverpool have just one win on the last four matches across all competitions. The home form is far from good, they have one win and five defeats on the last six home matches in the Premier League. The Reds beat Aston Villa, while lost to Brighton, Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Fulham. It is hard to imagine they had gone 68 home league matches unbeaten before the series of defeats started in January. Jurgen Klopp is under big pressure, but his job is not in question. Liverpool are two points away from the fourth place and they need to win this match. Many experts are afraid that some of the key players could leave the club if Liverpool stay out of the European top competition. Klopp is still missing the key defenders - Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip remain long-term absentees. But that's not all as captain Jordan Henderson is unavailable due to a knee injury. Nat Phillips, who was ruled out of the trip to Elland Road with a hamstring problem, is rated as doubtful. Fabinho could therefore be forced to start as centre-back once again. Mohamed Salah wasn't in the starting eleven against Leeds, but is expected to feature from the first minute here, meaning Diogo Jota or Firmino could drop out.

Newcastle United sit on the 15th place, just three away from the drop zone. They have won 9, drawn 8 and lost 15 of their 32 Premier League matches this season. Manager Steve Bruce was under enormous pressure during the previous months, however it is much better now. The reason is they have collected six points in the last two rounds. In other words, they have two victories on the last two matches. The Magpies managed to beat Burnley and West Ham to ease any relegation fears. The atmosphere in the squad is much better now. Steve Bruce's men have secured a 2:1 win at Turf Moor and a 3:2 win against West Ham at home in the last round. The key player on both occasions was Allan Saint-Maximin. A combination of injury and illness has restricted him to just 13 Premier League starts this term, but he has played a key role in Newcastle's return of six points from the last two matches. Saint-Maximin inspired a superb turnaround in a vital win at Burnley and underlined his importance with a wonderful first-half display against the Hammers, his driving run leading to an Issa Diop own goal which gave the Magpies the lead. Joe Willock should also be mentioned, he scored the winning goal in the finish of the match. He has scored three goals in nine Premier League appearances for Newcastle. But Bruce has some injury worries ahead of this match. Saint-Maximin, who left the game against West Ham with an ankle problem, is rated as doubtful. Ryan Fraser is not expected back from a groin problem just yet. Defenders Isaac Hayden, Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schar remain sidelined.

Liverpool vs Newcastle United Prediction:

I expect both teams to score. Three of the last four mutual games have finished that way. Liverpool haven't kept clean sheet at Anfield since January. The Reds have conceded on each league game. It is true they kept the net untouched against Real Madrid in the Champions League, but that was only because the goalless draw guaranteed progress for the Spanish outfit. I expect the in-form Newcastle to score here. Liverpool have scored on the last four league fixtures and I think they will continue.

Liverpool vs Newcastle United Pick: Both teams to score - Yes @ 2.12 with Unibet

Liverpool

They do not play well in these days because they suffer from injuries. And they are in low morale as they have been knocked out of UEFA Champions League. Now they are the seventh in the table of the League.

Newcastle United

They are in form, getting a three-match unbeaten run, which makes them up to the fifteenth in the table of the League. They stand the chance to take points from Liverpool in upcoming game.

Verdict:

There is a big gap between Liverpooland Newcastle United. But Liverpool are in poor state. Newcastle United are in high morale. In their last clash of this season, they draw with each other at 0-0. So the result of the game is suggested to be a draw.
