Manchester United vs West Ham Preview:

Probable starting lineups:

Manchester United:
De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay; Greenwood, Fernandes, Elanga; Ronaldo

West Ham:
Fabianski; Coufal, Diop, Dawson, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lanzini, Fornals; Antonio

Manchester United will try to leapfrog West Ham in the Premier League table when these two teams face at Old Trafford on Saturday. The Red Devils are sharing the sixth place with Arsenal. Both teams have 35 points, while the fourth-placed West Ham have 37. Tottenham have 36 points after the dramatic victory against Leicester City. United manager Ralf Rangnick is already feeling a pressure. The actual form is mixed, they have one win, one draw and one defeat on the last three matches in the Premier League. United suffered a home defeat to Wolverhampton, then shared the points with Aston Villa, and finally beat Brentford 3:1 on Wednesday. Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford were the scorers, but goalkeeper David de Gea should be mentioned as key man with his fabulous saves. For this match Rangnick remain without Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly due to injury and international duty respectively. But there are more problems. Scott McTominay was withdrawn in the finish of the match against Brentford with a back issue and he is rated as doubtful. Luke Shaw and Edinson Cavani are likely to miss out after suffering issues in training, while Jadon Sancho is still doubtful with personal reasons. Aaron Wan-Bissaka could miss the match due to illness. Victor Lindelof has asked that he not be considered for selection for this game after his home was burgled during the win over Brentford while his wife and children were inside. It was a traumatic event and the family have returned to Sweden. In a statement posted by Maja Lindelof on Friday she said she was able to "hide and lock ourselves in a room before the offenders entered our house."

High-flying West Ham are fourth with 37 points, two more than Manchester United. Their ambitions are connect with Top-4 finish, but Tottenham and Arsenal should not be ignored. Four teams are fighting for the last Champions League spot and the current situation is very interesting. West Ham are in solid form, three victories on the last four Premier League matches is a good result. They managed to beat Watford, Crystal Palace and Norwich, but in the last round suffered an unexpected 3:2 home defeat to Leeds United. Twice Marcelo Bielsa's side took advantage through Jack Harrison, and twice they were pegged back by Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals. However, Harrison completed a hat-trick after 60 minutes to secure the victory. Nevertheless, David Moyes is doing a good job and the fans are pleased. The players confidence remain high, but facing Manchester United at Old Trafford is definitely a huge challenge. Moyes has some additional issues as five players are unavailable or doubtful. Tomas Soucek had a positive COVID-19 test, while Mark Noble is sidelined through a knee injury. Said Benrahma is on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, while centre-backs Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma are possible absentees for the guests.

Manchester United vs West Ham Prediction:

This is the most interesting match on Saturday. Both teams must go for the victory, so I expect an open game. Manchester have the home advantage, but West Ham have already beat the Red Devils at Old Trafford in this season's EFL Cup. United, meanwhile, secured a 2:1 win in the reverse fixture played in London. It is clear this will be an eventful match. I expect goals from both sides.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Crystal Palace:
Butland; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Schlupp, Hughes, Gallagher; Olise, Edouard, Eze

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold; Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Jones; Jota, Firmino, Minamino

Crystal Palace welcome Liverpool to Selhurst Park as both teams are looking for a positive results. While only a victory is good enough for Klopp, his counterpart Patrick Vieira should be satisfy if his team avoid the defeat. The Eagles are sitting comfortably in 11th position before the weekend's fixtures kick off, with 24 points. They have won five, drawn nine and lost seven matches in the Premier League. I think this is a solid result as their ambitions are not too high. Manchester City and Tottenham are between the Palace's victims this season, which shows they are capable to upset even the best. However, the actual form is mixed, one win, one draw and one defeat on the last three league matches. The Eagles beat Norwich 3:0, and lost 3:2 to West Ham. In the last round Palace shared the points with Brighton. Jack Butland saved a tame penalty from Pascal Gross and then Palace took the lead thanks to goal scored by Conor Gallagher in the 69th minute. And just when many thought Palace will win, Joachim Andersen turned into his own net with three minutes remaining. The atmosphere in the squad is positive, but Vieira has some worries ahead of this match. James Tomkins and James McArthur remain sidelined due to injury, while three more players are on international duty - Wilfried Zaha, Jordan Ayew and Cheikhou Kouyate are at the Africa Cup of Nations. Ayew could be in the squad following Ghana's early elimination.

Liverpool managed to beat Brentford 3:0 last weekend. It was a tough match and there is a reason for that - it was the first time since May 2017 that Liverpool had played without either Salah or Mane for a Premier League match. Previously the Reds played 0:0 with Arsenal at Anfield in the first-leg semi-final League Cup clash. Many experts thought Liverpool offensive issues will escalate in this period, but two wins on the last two matches showed the opposite. Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Minamino found the back of the net against the Bees, while Diogo Jota scored a brace in the second match against Arsenal at the Emirates. Five goals on the last two matches across all competitions surely increased the players confidence, but the absence of Salah and Mane is definitely an enormous handicap. They are simply irreplaceable. Klopp continues to be without Keita too, while five more players are struggling with injuries. Harvey Elliott has returned to team training last week, 128 days after his ankle injury. According to Klopp, he could be involved for the FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Cardiff City. Oxlade-Chamberlain faces a late test before being considered in contention for the trip to London, having returned to light training. However, Thiago Alcantara, Nat Phillips and Divock Origi remain sidelined. Joel Matip, who was substituted at half-time against Arsenal on Thursday with a fitness issue, is rated as doubtful.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Prediction:

Last season Liverpool won 7:0 at Selhurst Park, but I think this time could be different. Klopp is without key strikers Salah and Mane and that's a huge handicap. Most of the regulars are tired after the Thursday's League Cup semi-final against Arsenal. On contrary, the Eagles are fresh as they had nine days period for recovering. I see lot of problems for the Reds, particularly in the second half.
