Liverpool vs Southampton Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool welcome Southampton to Anfield in the final round of Premier League matches before the World Cup in Qatar. The Reds progressed in the EFL Cup on penalties in midweek, eliminating Derby County. I believe the atmosphere in the squad is better after two positive results on the last two matches. Liverpool also obtained an important 2:1 away victory against Tottenham last weekend. Mohamed Salah netted the both goals versus the North London outfit before Harry Kane's consolation. Despite the victory, the Reds remain away from the European spots. They are currently 8th in the table, big seven points adrift of the Champions League places. Jurgen Klopp's men now have a chance to win four successive matches in all competitions for the first time this season. Playing at Anfield is usually a big advantage, but this time is different as Liverpool suffered a painful home defeat to Leeds United on the last match. To be worse, Klopp still has big injury issues. Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur remain sidelined, while Joel Matip (calf) and Naby Keita are rated as doubtful due to a calf and thigh injury respectively. On a brighter note, James Milner has recovered and could start from the bench.

Southampton are in the relegation zone, third from the bottom with 12 points. They lost the last two league matches, so the club officials decided to sack the manager Ralph Hasenhuttl following the last weekend’s 4:1 defeat to Newcastle. He was dismissed after nearly four years in charge. The Austrian coach became the fifth top-flight manager in England to be sacked this season, following on from Scott Parker, Thomas Tuchel, Bruno Lage and Steven Gerrard. Few days later Nathan Jones from Luton Town was announced as his replacement. Jones has no Premier League experience, working in League Two, League One and the Championship Division with Stoke City, Luton and briefly as caretaker manager at Brighton back in 2014. He will try to replicate Roberto De Zerbi's success as the Italian remained unbeaten at Anfield in his first match with Brighton earlier this season. Jones will be missing the injured defenders Valentino Livramento and Kyle Walker-Peters. In addition, young 18-year-old Juan Larios came off in the first half of the EFL match against Newcastle with an adductor injury.

Liverpool vs Southampton Prediction:

I will suggest Salah to score anytime in this match. He will be particularly motivated as he is looking for his 100th goal in the Premier League at Anfield. The Egyptian winger has 70 goals and 29 assists on 99 top-flight home games for Liverpool, and only Thierry Henry has at least 100 contributions in 100 such matches in Premier League history. Knowing his good form (scored twice against Tottenham) and the fact he is the first choice for the penalties, I think this is a good option.

Liverpool vs Southampton Pick
: Mohamed Salah To Score Anytime @ 1.85 with Everygame

Wolves vs Arsenal

Arsenal is looking for their 12th win this season, with the world cup only a week away, most of their key players may not feature for the full game, therefore, do be so blind to back on a high goals encounter.

Arsenal -1 @ 1.82
