Arsenal vs Tottenham Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal:
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Perisic, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Richarlison, Kane, Son

Arsenal welcome Tottenham to the Emirates in another North London derby. Fans of both clubs consider the other to be their main rivals, and the derby is considered by many to be one of the most famous and fiercest clashes in the World. Although the two teams first played each other in 1887, the rivalry started in 1913 when Arsenal moved their ground to north London from Woolwich. As of 12 May 2022, 191 games have been played between the two teams since their first game in the Football League in 1909, with 79 wins for Arsenal, 61 wins for Tottenham and 51 games drawn. Last season both teams took the home advantage - Arsenal won 3:1 at the Emirats a year ago, while Tottenham registered a 3:0 win as hosts in May.

Arsenal are leaders in the Premier League with 18 points. The Gunners have six victories in the first seven rounds. In the last match before the international break they beat Brentford with 3:0. William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus scored in the first half, while young Fabio Vieira set the final result in the 49th minute. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent, while the players confidence is high. Some of the fans start dreaming about the title, though it is too early. But winning the North London derby will show they are genuine title pretenders. Arteta has some injury worries as Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe and Cedric Soares are definitely sidelined, while Kieran Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey are rated as doubtful. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Martin Odegaard should be available for selection.

Tottenham are sharing the second place with Manchester City. Both teams have 17 points, one less than Arsenal. The Spurs have won the last two Premier League fixtures against Fulham and Leicester City. The victory against the Foxes was remarkable. Son Heung-min, who was introduced into the match in the 59th minute, scored a hat-trick for just 13 minutes. The final result was 6:2 and the other three goals were scored by Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Rodrigo Bentancur. Nevertheless, the away form isn't at desired level as Tottenham have won just one of the three league games on road. To be worse, regular goalkeeper Hugo Lloris withdrew from France national team with a thigh injury, and he is rated as doubtful. Ben Davies and Lucas Moura are also questionable, as well as Ivan Perisic and Dejan Kulusevski. Most probably Richarlison will continue in the attack.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Prediction:

Arsenal managed to beat the Spurs at the Emirats in the last two seasons. Arteta could become only the third manager in Arsenal's history to win their first three league games against Tottenham at home, after George Morrell and Terry Neill. And I believe the Gunners will win here. They have a player able to make difference - Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Pick:
Arsenal to win @ 2.10 with Pinnacle

Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Luis Diaz

Brighton & Hove Albion:
Sanchez; Veltman, Dunk, Webster; Lamptey, MacAllister, Caicedo, March; Gross, Trossard; Welbeck

Liverpool welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Anfield on Saturday. The Reds are very inconsistent this season. They were embarrassed 4:1 by Napoli in the first Champions League match, while beat Ajax 2:1 in the second. The domestic results are mixed too - two wins, three draws and one defeat in the first six rounds. That is why this match is very important for Jurgen Klopp. Another failure will make the things more complicated. There are lot of theories for Liverpool's crisis - Sadio Mane departure, the lack of motivation, the injury situation, poor form of the key player Mohamed Salah etc. Klopp has some injury issues too. Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andrew Robertson and Calvin Ramsay will definitely miss the match, while few more are rated as doubtful. Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones and reserve goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will be in the squad for the first time this season, although the trio may not be risked. Captain Jordan Henderson, who took part in England's clash with Germany on Monday, could be named in the starting eleven. Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino are looking for a spot in attack alongside Salah and Diaz.

Brighton & Hove Albion have collected 13 points and sit on the fourth place. They have registered four victories in the first six rounds and everything looked fine. In the last league match the Seagulls beat Leicester City 5:2, even they conceded a first-minute goal. However, the lead only lasted 8 minutes before Solly March's header deflected into the net off Leicester defender Luke Thomas. Brighton went ahead in the 15th minute thanks to Moises Caicedo, but Daka equalized in the finish of the first half. Leandro Trossard scored Brighton's third from Pascal Gross' pass, while Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister netted twice in the second half for the final 5:2. He could have had a hat-trick, but saw his vicious strike from the edge of the area disallowed through offside. But then manager Graham Potter left the club and replaced Tuchel in Chelsea. This could be a problem and I am sure the new coach Roberto De Zerbi will need some time for acclimatization. For this match he will be without Jakub Moder and Adam Lallana due to injury. Enock Mwepu has been suffering from a fever and he is likely to be left at home as a precaution.

Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion Prediction:

Liverpool will attack from the first minute, they are desperate for three points here. But Brighton have scored five goals in the last match and the players confidence is very high. As a result, I believe they are able to upset Alisson. The new manager De Zerbi became known for implementing a very attacking style at Sassuolo. I expect goals from both sides.

Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion Pick:
Both teams to score - Yes @ 1.85 with Pinnacle

Manchester City vs Manchester United Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Manchester City:
Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Dias, Cancelo; Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne; Foden, Haaland, Grealish

Manchester United:
De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford

I will start my preview with a short history about the "Manchester derby." The first meeting between the two teams occurred on 12 November 1881, when West Gorton – who would later become Manchester City – hosted Newton Heath – who would later become Manchester United. The game finished 3:0 in favour of the Heathens (United). At that time, the clubs were just two of many fledgling sides in the Manchester area, and the fixture had no special significance. The first league meeting between the teams came in the season 1894/95 season, when Manchester City lost 2:5 at Hyde Road. The first meeting between the clubs to take place at the highest level of English football occurred in December 1906, a 3:0 City win in a First Division match.

As of 6 March 2022, there have been 187 competitive meetings between the teams. United have won 77 and City 57, the remaining 53 games finishing as draws. City won both fixtures last season with 2:0 at Old Trafford and 4:1 at the Etihad.

Manchester City are sharing the second place with Tottenham. Since the Spurs lost 3:1 to leaders Arsenal today, the Citizens could occupy that place alone. Of course, they need to win here to stay in touching distance with the Gunners. The actual form is good, they won 3:0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers before the international break. According to me, Pep Guardiola's side are clear favorites for the title. The Spaniard has some good news as Aymeric Laporte has return from a knee injury. Of course, it is not expected to start, as Manuel Akanji and Ruben Dias continue in the heart of the defense. John Stones and Kalvin Phillips are sidelined through injury.

Manchester United have started the season with two painful defeats - 2:1 to Brighton at Old Trafford and 4:0 to Brentford. However, the Red Devils play much better since and they managed to beat Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester City and Arsenal. The players confidence is higher and manager Erik Ten Hag has most of them available. Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have recovered from injury and have been training with the squad this week. Harry Maguire suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty, but Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez were expected to start anyway. Martin Dubravka, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are still struggling with injury. Ten Hag should decide between Casemiro and Scott McTominay in the midfield.

Manchester City vs Manchester United Prediction:

I think City will win the derby. And I believe they will win with at least two goals. According to me, there is class difference between two teams. Plus, City have two players able to make difference - De Bruyne and Haaland. The latter could become the first player ever to score a hat-trick in three successive Premier League home matches.

Manchester City vs Manchester United Pick:
Manchester City -1.5 AH @ 1.98 with Pinnacle
