QB Tom Brady’s absence from the New England Patriots’ practice Wednesday was said to be due to the birth of his child but he was also missing from Thursday’s practice and was only a minor participant on Friday.

Brady is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers — the Patriots are 13-point home faves for the game.

According to boston.com and the Pats’ official site, Brady was listed on the injury report Wednesday with a right shoulder/right finger injury and ESPN is reporting that the team revealed that their star QB also had a rib injury on Thursday.

Brady took a hit last week against the Miami Dolphins and temporarily left the game, with a suspected arm injury, only to return later — New England failed to cover as a 5-point fave in a 22-21 loss.

New England is 12-2 SU in its last 14 games when favored by more than 8-points but has been horrible against the line in that time going 3-11 ATS.
