The NBA Players Association and NBA donate $250,000 to the United States Fund for the UNICEF in assist of UNICEF emergency relief support in places of the Philippines ravaged by the super Typhoon Haiyan. Miami Heat head coach mother is from the Philippines and will help in a public service announcement for the institution to support raise funds for the Philippines efforts.
