Roma vs Brescia Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Roma:
Pau Lopez; Santon, Mancini, Smalling, Kolarov; Diawara, Veretout; Zaniolo, Pastore, Kluivert; Dzeko

Brescia:
Joronen; Sabelli, Cistana, Magnani, Martella; Bisoli, Tonali, Romulo, Ndoj; A. Donnarumma, Torregrossa

Roma are sharing the the fifth position with Atalanta. Both teams have 22 points and they are two points away from the Champions League spots. The Giallorossi have a record of six victories, four draws and two defeats. The actual form isn't bad, Roma have three victories on the last four matches in Serie A. They managed to beat Milan, Udinese and Napoli. Nevertheless, they suffered a painful defeat before the international break. Paulo Fonseca's men lost 2:0 to Parma. What is worse, they completely disappoint on that match. I expect some reaction from the players now, particularly because they play at home. After all, the defeat came after six positive results in the previous period. Roma were unlucky to concede a late goal in a 2:1 defeat from Borussia M'gladbach in UEFA Europe League, though coach Fonseca was without lot of players due to injuries in the last period. The situation looks much better now. Turkish winger Cengiz Under has finally recovered from injury and played for the national team. That's not all, Gianluca Mancini, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are also available and could start from the bench. However, Bryan Cristante, Nikola Kalinic, Davide Zappacosta and Leonardo Spinazzola remain sidelined. At the end I will mention that Roma have announced there are talks about potential investments. Il Messaggero has reported that the Qatari royal family’s Mayhoola for Investments has shown their interest, together with Qatar Sport Investments, who are already the owners of French Giants PSG.

Brescia are the worst side in Serie A. They sit on the last place with seven points, however the safe zone isn't far away as just two points separates Brescia from 17th placed Genoa. But the actual form is awful, the Lioness are in series of four defeats in Serie A. They lost to Genoa, Inter and Verona, while in the last round suffered a heavy 4:0 defeat to Torino. Many things went wrong for Brescia in the first half of that match - two penalties and a red card for the left-back Ales Mateju decided the winners. New coach Fabio Grosso was unable to change something dramatically. The players confidence is low, while the atmosphere in the squad is far from desired. In addition, Mario Balotelli was involved in an incident with Grosso, who told the striker to leave the Thursday's training. President Massimo Cellino admits Balotelli is unhappy since Verona match, when he suffered racial abuse at the hands of Verona fans. It now remains to be seen whether Super Mario will travel to the Olimpico. Ales Mateju will definitely miss the trip to the Capital due to suspension. As I wrote above, he received a red card against Torino and now must serve one-match ban. Three players are out due to injury - Luca Tremolada, Daniele Dessena and Jhon Chancellor.

Roma vs Brescia Prediction:

I expect Roma to win, the quality is on Roma side. Even more, I expect to win with at least two goals. The home advantage is the first reason. In addition, Brescia are the worst side in Serie A. They are in awful form, losing the last four matches in Serie A.

Easy win for ROMA, they need to keep up with the Top 3 spots.

Very poor, but football can be very complicated sometimes. That said they are the clear underdog here! Good luck on this bet
