How a lot is divided after say more than 1 players win

Hi!,
i don't understand things at this point in poker.
While playing many online poker games, i see that the lot doesnot go to a single winner. But there are more than one, ranked according to their cards.
It is obvious that if there were a single player, then the whole money lot would go to that winner. But how the lot is divided when there are more than one winners, according to their card ranks ?

They always split when they have the same hand if one is better takes all no dividing ever lol.... but your question is not well written...at all.
