well i'm new here and first of all thank you, there is mutch valluable info here you guys are great.

want to share my simple bet tactic for horses, its really easy, and for small banks you can grow pretty fast, i had 75% wining rate in my early betting ages with this, anyways lets start.

its a simple lay tactic in horse racing, basicly i bet in UK races only and with a basic staking plan, for beginers i recomend you use 2€ bet, to train on it.

how do i pick the horses?
there are alot of variables that you have to take note, since our objective is to lay on the favorite (or false favorite), we select all races that have "generic" bad horses, like maiden, apprentice, and female jokeys.
these are the race types where we can have a better chance at winning our bet.
pick races that are class 5 or above, by the same reason, bad horses are good for us :P.
why are these horses favorites?
well a favorite depends on how mutch money was bet on it, so betfair usualy puts "brandable" horses as favorite in the early ages of the market( 1 day before race), i take advantage on that and place my bet, since the odds are fairly low and we can take less liability with our bet.

well if you have any questions contact me in my website,(just created as a hobby, and it was a work for uni hehe).

in the website theres a fully detailed step by step description of the system, have fun :)

feel free to give me any feedback on the website i would appretiate it a lot :P

/Roger, thanks to all of you!

So basically you take advantage of early odds if I read it carefully, a lot of people take advantage of laying and backing, its the best way to win in the long term. :)
Ofcourse its important to choose well and predict which lines will change, which is still the hardest part.

yeah it is hard to get used to the selection routine, but after 1 month practicing it gets pretty fast and easy.

just created a Twitter page, i will be sharing tips almost everyday, have fun ! :P

in the future i will make a video tutorial as well as a facebook page, to share more tips, hope you enjoy it. 8-)

Never did get easy for me :p
Just to remind you, you can post picks in the different subforums, but advertise only with your signatures, cause we do not allow advertising in posts.

all the best :)

should i remove the link?

well it gets easy, if you start to automate it, make a sequence, and follow the rules, i strongly suggest to do 2 weeks or so of papper betting.
If in your second week your Win% isnt above 70%, train another week, with 75% win ratio you get really good and steady profit, depending on your stake obviously.

if you start looking at it as a sequence, it gets really fast.

something like(5/8mins) :
open timeform- select all maiden /handicap/ novice from class5/6
with that list, select all the races with +10horses

you have your races there, after that you just have to compare all 3 top favorites, and do your bets.

some tips to select the favorite:
if the favorite is a CD (course distance winner) do NOT bet
if the horse is doing is debut, or never raced in that track--> check jokey--> compare with other jokeys on the race, if they have less win % on that track /distance/terrain BET on the horse.

this is probably ~5min for each race at most :P

MOST IMPORTANT RULE --> STICK WITH THE RULLES!!! if you do this i can garantee you that you will get profit, be pacient aswell :P

good luck

some good advices, although I am not familiar with horse betting I feel you can be really good at this. Good luck!

well thanks, this can be actualy profitable, imagine this, you do everyday atleast 3 lay bets, witch is easy, and if you limit your self in a range of odds, like 1.9-3.5, your liability is never that high. with that you can use 1 bet and still make some profit or none, or lose just a litle bit.

and if you win all (not that unusual) you win 3 stake units :P

I cant wait for Australian open to come :p
I will put 2000 euro in my betfair account and play to reach 20 000 or lose them all...

That's a lot of money! :) Anyways, are you doing this yearly every season?

I stopped betting so big, I was ahead on numerous occasions and then lost my profit. I got angry with this and only bet for fun now.
