I would really appreciate if you could lend me a hand with a question regarding sports betting in states other than the ones with relaxed gaming legislation (i.e.: NV, etc.). I was wondering, since the enforcement of the UIGEA, what is the most common avenue used for placing bets. Is it by phone calls to bookies in legal states? Is it completely illegal to place bets from/in most states? I get a lot of conflicting info, so the legal situation in the US is baffling me.
Maybe someone could help clarify.
Any advice and information would be much appreciated.
