Different players - different stakes

I play only frerolls and ultra cheap tournaments. Players are like suicidal kamikadze. Is this different at the bigger tournaments. I don't play for money, only for the fun, but if I will face better opponents I will deposit more money in fulltilt for more expensive tournaments.
I'm already bored playing in freerolls, I want your opinion on this.

I never played freerolls, this is painfully slow, playing for cents. I suggest you to get some serious money and deposit, if you can afford it. The experience will be better, believe me. Playing for big money is all that poker is about.

If you are new player, Freerolls are a good way to learn how to play poker. But don’t try to make it a living. The moment you get deep into it the play perhaps will get better but you still can’t expect anything.

Freerolls take so much time and nothing is guaranteed, you can play 3 hours and win 50 cents. Its just hard.

The lower the buy-in, the more the donks. So low prize freerolls are nearly like play money. But say for example you play in VIP pokerstars freerolls with real prize money and only regular players who can make it to the freeroll, so it is less of a donkament. I believe the higher the buy-in the less people are going to play roulette, seems obvious. I mean if they love to play roulette for 10k or more, usually they are at the roulette table, not poker table.

Tables with big freerolls and payouts always have lots of players. Before you get too excited about freerolls, make sure to read the thread about "Freeroll Winnings" first.
