Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Jones, Diaz; Nunez

Bayer Leverkusen:
Hradecky; Tapsoba, Tah, Hincapie; Frimpong, Xhaka, Garcia, Grimaldo; Terrier, Wirtz; Boniface

Liverpool will welcome Bayer Leverkusen to Anfield on Tuesday night in one of derbies of the fourth round of UEFA Champions League. Liverpool have a perfect record at the moment, winning the first three fixtures. The Reds beat two Italians outfits - AC Milan and Bologna, as well as Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig. Six scored goals and one conceded are enough only for the second place on the table, behind Aston Villa. Arne Slot is doing a fantastic job and I believe the fans are satisfied. The Reds are leaders in the Premier League, so the players confidence is very high. Five players remain unavailable due to injuries, but the last news about Ibrahima Konate are good. The arm injury he sustained against Brighton on Saturday is not as bad as initially feared and he will be ready for this game. However, it is possible Joe Gomez to start here after his impressive second-half performances against Brighton. The situation with other injury victims isn't too optimistic and first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker, full-back Conor Bradley, midfielder Harvey Elliott and strikers Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa should be back after the international break.

Bayer Leverkusen have seven points after the first three rounds of the Champions League. They managed to beat Feyenoord and AC Milan, but played an 1:1 draw in the third round against the easiest opponents Brest. Despite taking the lead through star man Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen were unable to maintain their perfect record in the competition. The French outfit equalized in the finish of the first half through Pierre Lees-Melou. His goal was the first conceded by Xabi Alonso's side in this season's Champions League. After the break, Leverkusen struggled to create much danger. Alonso brought on first-team regulars Jeremie Frimpong, Amine Adli and Granit Xhaka on the hour-mark, but it was the hosts who looked more likely to score. However, despite a late chance for Brest substitute Mama Balde and a penalty claim for Hofmann, the result remained level until the final whistle. Alonso had two injured players, but Nordi Mukiele hurt his thigh in the goalless draw with Stuttgart on Friday. The French wing-back will be sidelined for at least two weeks, meaning he will skip the trip to England. Mukiele joined Amine Adli and Jeanuel Belocian in the Leverkusen infirmary. Finally, Martin Terrier is rated as doubtful after missing the Friday's clash.

Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction:

Bayer Leverkusen have lost just two of their past 63 games in all competitions. Xabi Alonso - the former Liverpool player who won the Champions League twice as a player - is doing an excellent job. They are unbeaten since late August, when lost 3:2 to Leipzig. Nevertheless, I think Liverpool are closer to the victory here. The home advantage is the key reason for my pick. But there is more. The Reds look very good under Arne Slot and they are more experienced as team. The domestic results are also favoring Liverpool. Slot's men are leaders in the Premier League, while Leverkusen are seven points behind Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Atletico Madrid Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Paris Saint-Germain:
Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Neves; Dembele, Asensio, Barcola

Atletico Madrid:
Oblak; Molina, Witsel, Gimenez, Reinildo; De Paul, Koke, Barrios, Lino; Alvarez, Griezmann

Paris Saint-Germain will welcome Atletico Madrid to Parc des Princes in the most interesting clash of the Champions League's fourth round. Interesting to be mention, this is the first-ever mutual game between these two European heavyweights. Paris Saint-Germain are the leaders in Ligue 1 with 26 points. They have six more than Monaco and Marseille and this should be another successful season. The problem is Arab owners are no more satisfied with domestic trophies. Nasser Al-Khelaifi is desperate to win the Champions League as he spent enormous money in new players. PSG are in solid form at the moment, they have three wins and one draw in the last four matches. The Parisians beat Strasbourg, Marseille and Lens, while played only a draw with Dutch side PSV in the Champions League. Coach Luis Enrique probably feel some pressure as PSG have won just one of the three matches in Europe. In addition, he has three injury issues - Goncalo Ramos, Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez remain out.

Atletico Madrid are in very complicated situation. They started the Champions League campaign with a narrow 2:1 win over Bundesliga side Leipzig, but that's all they did. The Rojiblancos have suffered painful defeats in the next two rounds. They lost 4:0 to Benfica in Lisbon, but also lost 3:1 to French side Lille at home. With only three points, Atletico sit outside the first 24 places, meaning they are in the "relegation zone". If something could be rated as positive, that's a 2:0 win against Las Palmas during the weekend, with Giuliano Simeone and Alexander Sorloth scoring the goals. Diego Simeone now has unusual "problem" in attack - to include his son Giuliano Simeone, or to start with more recognized strikers like Antoine Griezmann, Angel Correa or Alexander Sorloth. Summer signing Julian Alvarez is also an option. He has been involved in 13 goals in 20 Champions League appearances to date, but it seems he can't replicate his scoring form from Manchester City. He has netted just once for the current club in Europa. Four players are injured - Robin Le Normand, Marcos Llorente and Cesar Azpilicueta are definitely out, while Thomas Lemar remains a doubt.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Atletico Madrid Prediction:

This match is extremely important for both teams. PSG are favorites, mainly due to the home advantage, but I think the guests won't lose. Atletico suffered two painful defeats to Benfica and Lille, now I expect some reaction from Diego Simeone's men. There are lot of talented players in the squad. PSG, meanwhile, are not strong like previous seasons. Top players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe left the club. The Parisians have just one win, against competition debutantes Girona in the first round. Even that victory was lucky, after huge mistake made by the Girona goalkeeper in the finish of the match.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Atletico Madrid Pick: Atletico Madrid +0.5 AH @ 2.25 with Pinnacle

Inter vs Arsenal Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Inter:
Sommer; Pavard, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Taremi, Martinez

Arsenal:
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Merino, Partey, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

Inter will welcome Arsenal to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday night in the Champions League fixture. Both teams have started the campaign in similar way - with two wins and one draw. Something else should also be mentioned - both Inter and Arsenal are yet to concede. Inter have already survived the Etihad, playing a goalless draw with Premier League champions Manchester City, while managed to beat the Serbian side Crvena Zvezda and Young Boys from Switzerland. The domestic form is also solid, they beat the relegation-threatened Venezia thanks to a Lautaro Martinez header. Having on mind that Napoli lost to Atalanta, the Nerazzurri are now just one point behind Antonio Conte's leaders in the Serie A table. Inter have won seven of their last eight matches across all tournaments. The only exception is a frenetic 4:4 draw in Derby d'Italia with Juventus. Coach Simone Inzaghi is doing a fantastic job and I believe the fans are satisfied. Inzaghi has almost all players available, only the Brazilian left-back Carlos Augusto is sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Alessandro Bastoni, who left the match with Venezia due to injury, is rated as doubtful.

As I wrote above, Arsenal also have two wins and one draw after the first three rounds. They are between the seven teams who collect seven points, so Mikel Arteta could be satisfied. The Gunners managed to beat the French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine, both at home. The goalless draw with Atalanta in Bergamo could be evaluated as positive result, particularly because the Italians failed to convert a penalty. But something else is a big problem. The Gunners suffered a narrow 1:0 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday. Losing at St James Park isn't a catastrophe for any club, but something else is a bigger problem - Arsenal were poor. With neither Bukayo Saka nor Gabriel Martinelli able to make a difference, the Gunners put in an incredibly toothless showing. As a result, they are now outside the top four in the Premier League table and are seven points behind leaders Liverpool. The absence of the key creative Martin Odegaard is a huge handicap. The Norwegian international is recovering from an ankle injury and he is rated as doubtful for this match. Arteta will definitely be missing Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Riccardo Calafior, while Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes should be assessed.

Inter vs Arsenal Prediction:

I think Inter are closer to the victory. The home advantage is the reason for my pick, but there is more. Arsenal poor form is maybe the key reason for the pick. Arteta is definitely missing his key creative Martin Odegaard. Many players were trying to replace him, but with little success. Odegaard will maybe start here, but he definitely need time to find the form after two-month recovering. Inter are in solid form, they have seven wins and one draw on the last eight matches across all competitions. The players confidence is high and this fact could decide the match.
