Newcastle United will host the former competition winners Borussia Dortmund at St James Park on Wednesday night. This is a very important match for both teams as Group F is also known as 'Group of Death' considering the fact that Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan are the remaining two participants. The players confidence is very high at the moment and they will strongly attack Borussia from the first whistle. Howe remain without Sven Botman, Harvey Barnes and Joe Willock due to injuries, but it shouldn't be a problem as he has big roster. Sandro Tonali is facing a lengthy ban for betting offenses, though the Italian remains available for selection at the moment.

Niclas Fullkrug will probably lead the line and he will try to score the first goal in Europe this term. Sebastien Haller will also be pushing to start up front. Most of the players are ready for this match, but Mateu Morey, Youssoufa Moukoko and Julian Duranville will miss the trip to England due to injury.

The players confidence is very high after the last round's victory over PSG. Borussia Dortmund have lost their last 6 games away to English opposition across all competitions. They are yet to score a goal in the Champions League and I think they will lose here.
