Milan vs Feyenoord Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Milan:
Maignan; Walker, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Felix, Leao; Gimenez

Feyenoord:
Wellenreuther; Read, Beelen, Hancko, Smal; Moder, Milambo; Hadj Moussa, Ivanusec, Paixao; Carranza

Milan will welcome the Dutch side Feyenoord to Stadio San Siro on Tuesday night. Just six days ago these two teams played in Rotterdam when Feyenoord won 1:0. Igor Paixao was the scorer of the lone goal in the third minute. The Brazilian striker almost added a second before the break, but hit the crossbar. Milan, who did not name a single Italian player in their starting eleven, only fleetingly threatened. It was a disappointed evening for the Rossoneri, who won the competition seven times in their history. What was the key for success? Well, definitely three Dutch legends or the "Tre Tulipani", the nickname given to the three Dutch players Frank Rijkaard, Marco van Basten and Ruud Gullit.

Milan lost the reverse fixture, but they are still in good position to book a place in the last 16. The atmosphere in the squad is positive following the weekend's win over Hellas Verona in Serie A. But the fans want victory in the Champions League. What is interesting, Milan could face the city rivals Inter in the next round. It will be a special derby, but Milan have to eliminate Feyenoord first. Coach Sergio Conceicao was very frustrated by his side poor display in Rotterdam, but everything is very much open. The Portuguese coach has few issues ahead of this clash. Alessandro Florenzi, Emerson Royal and Pierre Kalulu remain sidelined, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is rated as doubtful due to a muscular injury. However, he is not expected to start anyway.

Feyenoord have appointed Pascal Bosschaart as new coach last week after parting ways with Brian Priske. The fans were not sure how the new coach will start, though Feyenoord won. However, they paid a high price for the victory. Ayase Ueda and captain Quinten Timber had to be substituted with respective hamstring and knee injuries and missed the weekend's draw with NEC Niijmegen. as a result. They are just two of several concerns for an injury-hit Feyenoord. Calvin Stengs, Chris-Kevin Nadje, Hwang In-beom, Bart Nieuwkoop, Ramiz Zerrouki, Jordan Lotomba, Justin Bijlow and Gernot Trauner are also struggling with injury. Finally, left-back Quilindschy Hartman is ineligible to play, so Bosschaart could be missing as many as 11 of players for a daunting return fixture

Milan vs Feyenoord Prediction:

Milan need a two-goal victory to qualify for the next stage. And I think they are able to win. There are three main reasons for my pick. First is the home advantage. Full Stadio San Siro will be something like a 12th player for Milan. The second reason is connect with the competition experience of both teams. It is impossible to compare a side that won the Champions League seven times with a side yet to lift the trophy. Finally, the third and last reason - the injury situation. While Milan are almost complete, Feyenoord could be without as many as 11 players. This is a big handicap for the guests, who have new coach in Pascal Bosschaart, who replaced Brian Priske few days ago.

Milan vs Feyenoord Pick:
Milan -1.5 AH @ 2.16 with Pinnacle
