Liverpool vs Paris Saint-Germain Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Elliott, Diaz; Nunez

Paris Saint-Germain:
Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Ruiz, Vitinha, Neves; Kvaratskhelia, Dembele, Barcola

Liverpool will play host to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 contest at Anfield on Tuesday evening. The Reds won 1:0 the reverse fixture thanks to late goal scored by Harvey Eliott. According to the former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher, it was “one of the biggest robberies you’ll ever see”. The Parisians dominated the game , taking 27 shots and hitting the target with 10 of those, but they came up against a fantastic Alisson in the Liverpool goal, whose miraculous saves kept them at bay. Like never before this season, Liverpool were heavily outplayed at Parc des Princes. PSG were absolutely outstanding, they battered Liverpool. But that's football, the better side not necessarily win the match.

Liverpool are in poor form at the moment, but they always find a way to win the matches. Or at least to avoid the defeat. The last match against Southampton wasn't an exception. The Reds started the match poor and they were one-goal down after the first half. However, Darwin Nunez equalized early in the second half, while Mohamed Salah converted two penalties to secure a 3:1 win. Three points from this match, plus the Sunday's draw between Arsenal and Manchester United means the difference between Liverpool and Arsenal is now 15 points. The players confidence should be high, but I am not 100% sure about that. Slot has the majority of his players available, but Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley remain out injured.

Paris Saint-Germain are in fantastic form at the moment. On Saturday they beat the solid Rennes 4:1 and came very close to the title. But the Arab owners are no more satisfied with domestic trophies, they want Champions League. They brought the best players in the club, like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, but without success. The current squad nave no superstar, but coach Luis Enrique composed an excellent team that are able to compete with the strongest Europeans sides. The Spaniard has no injury issues and all the players are ready. Enrique rested the majority of his regulars in order to be fresh for Liverpool. Dembele, who came as substitute in the 64th minute, scored a brace in the finish of the match.

Liverpool vs Paris Saint-Germain Preview:

There were lot of debates about the match at Parc des Princes and all the pundits agree that PSG outplayed the Reds. Liverpool did not deserve to win, but a moment of brilliance of Harvey Eliott and lot of moments of Alisson's brilliance decided the winners. Now everybody has the same question - are PSG players good enough to reproduce the performances in England? Not many teams in the history were able to handle the pressure at Anfield. However, I think this is a perfect opportunity for Luis Enrique and his players. They were clearly better on the first match and Liverpool were simply outplayed. PSG look very strong at the moment

Liverpool vs Paris Saint-Germain Pick: Paris Saint-Germain to win @ 2.86 with Pinnacle

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid Preview:

Possible starting lineups:

Atletico Madrid:
Oblak; Molina, Gimenez, Le Normand, Javi Galan; Simeone, Marcos Llorente, De Paul, Lino; Alvarez, Griezmann

Real Madrid:
Courtois; Valverde, Asencio, Rudiger, Mendy; Tchouameni, Camavinga; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr; Mbappe

Real Madrid won 2:1 at Santiago Bernabeu last week and they are closer to the quarterfinals. Rodrygo opened the scoring inside four minutes when he sprinted past Galan and hit past Jan Oblak. However, Atletico levelled in the 32nd minute with wonderful goal scored by Julian Alvarez. It was his seventh goal in nine Champions League's appearances this season. But it was Brahim Diaz who claimed the decisive goal in Madrid derby. The 25-year-old midfielder, who had stepped up in Bellingham's absence, found the back of the net in the 55th minute. Real have an advantage, but nobody should write-off Atletico, particularly when playing at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. The winners will probably face Arsenal in the quarterfinals, after the Gunners thrashed 7:1 PSV in Eindhoven.

Atletico Madrid suffered a painful defeat for the weekend. They had an advantage until the 88th minute, but then conceded two easy goals and lost 2:1 to Getafe. Mauro Arambarri was the key name on the match as his brace decide the outcome of the match. The defeat will surely impact the atmosphere in the squad and the players confidence. Atletico are now third, one point behind Barcelona, who also have a match in hand. Now everything depend on Simeone and how soon he could bring back the winning atmosphere. The Argentine coach has almost all players available, only Koke is out injured. Experienced defender Cesar Azpilicueta has returned to the matchday squad against Getafe at the weekend, so he will start from the bench here.

Real Madrid are the most successful club in the history of the Champions League. Many times they are poor in the group phase, but then excellent in the knock-out stage. It is hard to explain what happen in their heads, so this season was not an exception at all. Los Blancos had destroyed Manchester City led by Guardiola in the playoffs, winning 3:2 in England and 3:1 in Madrid. Real are always favorites to lift the trophy in the European top competition, but one team they don't feel comfortable is Atletico. Ancelotti has three injury worries ahead of this match. Dani Ceballos is out with a hamstring injury, wile Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are long-term absentees. On the positive note, Bellingham is available after served an one-match suspension.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid Prediction:

Counting only the cup competitions, Atletico are unbeaten in the last five meetings, winning four against Real. Another success is just what they need. Simeone's men must win again here if they are to have a chance of progression. But it is lot easier to say. Real Madrid are the most successful club in the history of the Champions League. Los Blancos have won every previous European tie against Atletico, including two Champions League finals against their local rivals, and they are the favorites to do so again. And I think Real will win again. It will be an interesting match, but Real have players able to make a difference - Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappe.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid Pick: Draw or Real Madrid (Double Chance) @ 1.54 with Pinnacle
