Dolgopolov, A - Karlovic, I

Karlovic is serving very well at the moment. Dolgopolov's game isn't brilliant, but neither is Karlovic's. Karlovic is winning because of his massive serve. I expect a few breaks in whole game so my pick will be over 9.5 games in first set. Pick: Over 9,5 games in first set

Odds: 1.50

Granollers, M - Ferrero, J. C.

Ferrero played in two matches 10 sets and Granollers played in two matches 6 sets. Ferrero is 31 and it's a question how is his psyhical condition after this two matches. Beside that, Ferrero is much better on clay. Granollers is in a nice form and he feels good on hard courts. H2H is 3-0 for Ferrero, but all matches took their place on clay. Today I expect from Granollers to win against a little bit tired Ferrero. Pick: Granollers, M

Odds: 2,00

Del Potro - Simon

Matches between this two players are always tough. H2H is 2-1 in Del Potro's favour. Their last meeting was in London, at Wimbledon. Del Potro won that match 7-6 7-6 7-5. Simon had his chances but he hadn't realised them. I don't believe in Del Potro that he can twice in a row beat Simon 3-0. Simon won Hamburg and present very good performance in Cincinnati. Del Potro's US Open begins here. In first two rounds he won against Volandri and Junqueira. Simon will keep pushing everything back on Del Potro's backhand, which is the most error prone shot he has used in last few months. Pick: Simon +2,5 sets

Odds: 1,5 - 1,6

Taking Nadal to win the whole thing at @6.0
He is underrated in this tournament. Plus I like his draw, only real test before the final is David Ferrer who plays great against Rafa, Murray wont be a problem after I saw him against Haase. If Roger beats Djokovic once again he will handle the title to Rafa. But even if rafa plays Djoko he still has his chances.

Tipsarevic - Ferrero

Tipsarevic looks good and confident here at US Open what is very important for him. Earlier I was suggesting that Granollers could win against Ferrero, but Granollers had withdrawn from that match. Tipsarevic is better player than Granollers and I stay on my opinion that Ferrero's time at US Open is over. Smaller stake because we all know what a mug Tipsarevic can be sometimes. Pick: Tipsarevic

Odds: 1.50

1. Kerber - Pennetta

After taking out Peng and Sharapova, Penneta should be able to win against Kerber. Penneta is more experienced and in their last meeting Penneta had have an easy match. Today I expect somethin similar. Pick: Pennetta

2. Isner - Simon

After taking out Del Potro, Simon should be to good for Isner too. Both players are in good form but I give a little advantage to the Simon because he played against Del Potro and showed good play, while Isner show some problems in the game against Bogomolov and this one will be a real test for him. I know that he's playing in front of home crowd, but I think that Simon will be up to that and advance in the quarters. Pick: Simon (-1,5 games)

yes that is correct..

well i think its all about determination.. there's a match between Nadal and Muller..

who is your bet?? :)

1. Federer, R - Tsonga, J W

Don't believe that Tsonga can three times in the row beat Roger, but this should be an entertaining match with many attractive points. It seems to me that we'll see at least one tie break and match of four or five sets. Neither one of them can't hold the same level through whole match. They have their ups and downs. In a match with three winning sets I can't see Federer or Tsonga winning without losing at least one set. This match will have many games. Pick: Over 38,5 games

Odds: 1,90 - 1,95

I found more value in Federer and Tsonga, but let's go on Nadal and Muller. My opinion on that match is that there will be under 31,5 or 32 games. You have that in Pinnacle and odds are 2,020 and 1,943. Reasons for that pick: If Nalbandian who is much more talented and better player than Muller couldn't take a set from Nadal why would we expect that Muller will. Further, Muller caused some problems to Nadal in Wimbledon but here at hard court Nadal will return much easier. Muller doesn't have any weapon against Nadal in rallies and for him would be a success if he holds his serve to the tie break. I don't believe in that. For me, more probable score is 6-4 6-4 6-2 or something like that (if Muller loses first set preety comfortable his level of play will be very low in second and third set). But wheather forecast could go in Muller's favour and this is why I didn't bet on this one.

Roddick - Nadal

I see this match coming in three of four sets. Roddick is in form, but that's not enough for Nadal. Nadal didn't lose a single set yet even he's not playing on the highest level. Good thing for Nadal is that his game is raising. First set could be tricky for Nadal, but if he win that first set then everything will be much easier. Roddick will get mad and he won't concentrate on match.

Pick: Nadal -1,5 sets
Odds: 1,45

nadal is doing great, even though he is fucked by the weather he is winning his matches easily without spending too much energy. still confident on my pick.

1. Novak Djokovic - Roger Federer
Djokovic is in form of his life. He's not so dominant like he was a few months ago, but this is semi final of grand slam against Roger Federer. He'll be up to this game 100%. Federer is my favourite player but I don't believe today in his chances. In best of five Federer doesn't have anymore enough concentration and stamina to beat Djokovic. That's because Djokovic is returning everything and then Federer does unforced errors. In rallies Djokovic seems better than Federer. Pick: Novak Djokovic

2. Rafael Nadal - Andy Murray
In second semi final I'll also stick with the favourite. Rafa played brilliantly against Roddick and he's raising in his game. Andy has up and downs and that's why he'll lose today. It'll be a tough game for both players, but in the end Nadal will win this one. Pick: Rafael Nadal
