The Trading of Garnett, Pierce, and Terry to Nets

The reason for the trading is to welcome the opportunity to clear the cap space and acquire multiple future draft picks to begin the franchise's reconstruction process.

Yes, that is true, and I for one welcome the trade. I love Garnett and the Celtics, and when I heard he was to make a move to Boston I was in heaven. However, that is a long time ago, and he is getting older. The Celtics needs to focus on rebuilding a team where there is a lot of older players. Hopefully we can keep Rondo, as we need some continuity, but losing Garnett and Pierce is a big loss, it is a much needed cap space move.
