In the history of the last 13 years of the Tashkent Open , no champion has ever come back to defend her crown in the singles event , but in the 13th edition of the Tashkent Open which is being organized on the background of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s 20th year foundation celebrations , 3 former champions are back in the city to have their hands on the crown again.
There previous winners Pauline Parmentier of France (2007). ., Romania’s Sorena Cirstea (2008), and Russia’s Alla Kudryavtseva (2010) will have to survive challenge from young challengers, Ksenia Pervak of Russia and Serbia’s Bojana Jovanovski who have had a brilliant year till date.
