Sources: The Houston Rockets had agreed on a contract that Omer Asik will be traded to New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for the future first-round draft pick. This is the Rockets strategy to clearing salary-cap space to get Carmelo Anthony or LeBron James in free agency this July. This trade agreement will give the Pelicans a ring protector and also a defender to be pair with the star forward Anthony Davis.
