HEAVYWEIGHT DUEL IN PHILADELPHIA

The Philadelphia 76ers host the Denver Nuggets in one of the biggest fixtures on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center.
Brett Brown’s team comes off an impressive win against the current NBA champions, the Toronto Raptors. Still perfect at home with 12 wins in 12 games, Philadelphia will try to maintain their invincibility against one of the best teams in the Western Conference. Their starting 5 is possibly the strongest in the league, although Josh Richardson is still out due to an injury, they still have the best net rating in the NBA, proving that this could possibly be the year they win it all. The matchup of the night is Joel Embiid versus Nikola Jokic, and the 76ers will need the Center to step up big time on the offensive end but on the defensive end as well. This game will be a big test for the home team's bench, as the Nuggets are much deeper than the Sixers, which could give them a slight edge.
On the other hand, the Nuggets are struggling in this road trip, with 2 losses and 1 win, with that win coming at Madison Square Garden against a terrible Knicks team. They have one of the best defensive ratings in the league, but it seems it’s their offense is what's holding them back. It’s strange how this is happening, seeing as they’re one of the deepest teams in the league, with plenty scorers on their starting five and even their bench. Nikola Jokic will have the task of guarding Joel Embiid tonight, an aspect that could limit his offensive production due to fatigue or even foul trouble. Nevertheless, it will be an interesting duel.
