According to the franchise, Los Angeles Lakers will retire both number 24 and 8 before the December match up game against the defending champ Golden State Warriors. The black mamba retired after the 2015-16 season and he played 20 seasons overall for the Lakers. The All-Star scoring machine named as the third in career points and behind Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
