Charlotte, N.C. - There is no surprise on extending the huge contract for Micheal Kidd-Gilchrist and head coach Steve Clifford has many reasons to maintain the promising player. Coach Steve stated that when Kidd-Gilchrist is in the court the team plays well but without him it is not complete though the last season will tell. The Hornets were 62-55 with him in the first five starting line up but 14-33 without Michael. The agreement is worth $52 million more than four years with player option.
